I had just over 5 mil the game went down and forced a patch, I download the patch and progress was reset
I got to about 5 mil again I think I disconnected from forza life and got reset again.

I’m getting this problem too. Was at 4.9 million skill points and now it just got reset to 896,000. This is the THIRD time it has reset. Very frustrating.
I’ve been disconnected from horizon life and reconnected, no points reset. It appears perhaps if the game restarts, the points will be reset once new points tally.
I did 3 accounts in one session, doing everything the game has to offer, and even being disconnected, didn’t have a point reset on any account.
It takes me about 1.5 hours to get the 7 million skill points. The Landy Fe in the skill shop works pretty good maxed out in s1 and adding perks as points allow.
After doing the last account, I had accumulated 125 perk points and that’s after maxing out perks on the Jeep Wrangler I was using while getting those 7 million skill points.

Ok until I quit the game.
When I restart the counter resets as soon as I hit something.
Every time you start a new game it shows your accumulated skill points. As soon as you start collecting new skill points, the counter gets reset. I was just shy of 1 million, after losing 2 million, now those are gone. In total that’s 3 million skill points gone. Suddenly my desire to play FH4 is very, very low. I don’t think I’ll be playing until this gets fixed.

I’m pretty sure I’d done at least one, maybe two of the cross country races last night. Did one today, and hoped to be finished, but found that it was back to 1.
I spent the better part of an hour grinding for skills, and got up around 3 million Got a screen shot of it too. I’m on-call this weekend too, so no telling if I’m going to be able to get back to it. If it’s reset, I might just skip it. There are other things I want to do in this game besides grind for skills.
By the way, the Forza edition Land Rover comes with a skills boost, and has some decent skills perks on it, so if you have to grind, that seems to be the one to do it in.

Accumulated almost 3.3 million last night. Signed out for bed. Signed in this evening, and it said I had the same number of points. Went out and got about 700K, and looked to see if I was over 4 million yet and I had… 700K. I signed out and came back. It says I have 700K. Crashed a couple of fences and suck. Now I have 3200 points.
4 million points gone.
I won’t be trying again until they are restored, or this bug is confirmed fixed. Or, you know, they give me my Forza Points.

Same thing here! Spent a couple hours grinding yesterday afternoon, got to about 4million points then turned the Xbox off to nip the shops. Got back, loaded back up, points still there, did a bit more, checked the score and now only have 1.5million! All progress from before wiped. No way am I wasting time now doing it again. Need to get this issue patched.

I’m having a similar problem with this weeks challenge. I was at the last stage and had 6.5mil skill points collected, and now it’s suddenly reset! This cost me quite some time so this is annoying as hell, especially because I was almost there.
I am trying to do the Offroad Challange now. I got to the second phase. It says I should win 3 races with an Offroad car (a green race you know…).
So I choose a car which is considered as an Offroad Dirt-rider os something (volkswagen buggies for example), win like 6-7 green races with them and guess what? I have 1/3.
So I tried to do it again today, won 5 races, still 1/3.
What am I doing wrong or what is this? Does anyone know???
Wrong car, in your cars page, use filter to limit it to Offroad only, not Extreme offroad or others, then use one of those cars Land Rover FE for example or the Range Rover or Jeep.
Same issue. Had 2 million+ and today it’s at 700k. Pretty annoying. Also, my daily challenges aren’t always refreshing. I’ve had the Full of Beans challenge done for about 3 days and a new one never replaces it. Can’t get the Bonus points if the system is broken. Hopefully we get some compensation for all the time sunk into trying that weekly.

Make sure you’re using a car from the “Offroad” category only - “Offroad Buggies” (like the VW) and “Extreme Offroad” vehicles do not count.

I lost mine twice (on PC). Luckily I wasn’t as far as some people when I noticed them vanishing. It’s a lot easier to do Forza Live a few times instead of grinding for endless hours to get 100 points. 7,000,000 is a crazy number to begin with. Funny how H3 Forzathons were too quick with greater rewards and now H4 Forzathon seems to take forever just to get enough points for half a car. lol

Same here. Had 5M SP banked and just finished a skill song that should’ve put me over the 7M goal. Went to check and back to 1.5M.
This is [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. 7M is a tough grind when you’re trying to do other things IRL and to have it reset is a real n*t shot. Arrrgh!

Issue rose today for me.
I obtained just over the 1.1 million as it stated, but later after doing some races it was 35,000 !! and I logged out later and it is reset to 0 !!
We the players should be compensated if a fix can not be implemented to fix this issue and restore what we the players have worked hard at before timer runs out.

Same here on PC. Resets every time I restart the game, regardless of switching vehicles. This is pretty annoying, especially when you restrict certain vehicles to only being available with FTP.
