These events occur every hour on the hour, some are good some are hard, to finish you have to complete 3 rounds of different events, 10 or 20 points per round, and you get 30 or 60 shop points to spend in the forzathon shop, to get 60 you have to finish a complete season and I made a list of them.
Please dont leave the events because, personally I don’t care how bad you are doing, because every point counts and it could make the difference between finishing 3 rounds instead of 1 or 2. You get the points for each round completed.
Speed traps are much faster to complete if you sit at the trap and drive forward and reverse back over it, back and forth, than trying for top speed, use a car with fast acceleration and this how how I have finnished the ones with 2 players.
Speed zones are a similar thing, it is quantity beats quality, better to go a bit slower and finish a run than go off course and fail.
Also the run in to some speed zones have a tight corner before entry, ignore the roads and run at it straight on. On some there are fences, on my first run I run over them because you can cut corners and go off road a cars width before failing.
Jumps can be done both ways except for Arthur,s Seat Reservoir Ridge and Mam Tor, but if there are only a few players I fast travel with the longset run up I can do easily.
Drifting for me was very annoying at first, even though I finished Drift Club 1&2 with 3 stars on all missions, it was frustrating, but now I have it down pat. Turn off traction control and stability management, then its just getting used to throwing the car around, pointing the front wheels towards where you want to go and keeping the back wheels in the drift zone at a decent speed 130-200 kph. Tap or hold the hand brake for longer drifts.
Events that start with a group skill points round, you can build up points before you start, so when you reach the area you can finish it almost immediately with 500,000.
