I don’t think we could of got much more out of that Porsche but it was fun trying..

For the Airfield, i’d be surprised if anything will beat the K10 so i’ll leave that to try last (unles I have a time there with it already). Good luck all, drive well.

Thank you! After the challenges were announced I decided to drive for a while in both challenges. The C class is great fun, I didn’t even think that these cars could be made so fast! I checked one Chevy with a 6.2 engine and it’s cool, it will be good fun. Then I checked the B class and started the fun with the Defender (there are two in total). I have no idea how to set up these cars, whether to build for 6.2 or turbo rally? So good fun awaits as well. I saw that you have your time there in the Chevy K10.

 Well… you shut me up there didn’t you, I had a quick look last night after posting that :up_arrow: and yes, I do have a K10 time up there and yes, you had beaten it easily. So that’s put me in my place

:person_raising_hand:I think it’s a matter of old tune or generally old time. You’re definitely right about the car, it’s very good! I made these 3 cars, spending 3 minutes on each to get some starting point. K10 and Safari look great! Defender also has something, I know it can be fast but difficult to drive :love_you_gesture:

I added a tune for the Chevy 150 sedan C600. It is very fast and its main advantage is not precise turning (tire issue) but you can help yourself with the handbrake in two places, I do it this way and it’s ok. If someone would like to check it out, I would be very happy.

I tried @EdwardPindol Nova tune yesterday and was happy with the results, and on the other challenge (Airfield CC) I used @ChevyChase13 Safari tune, and again happy with the outcome.

Cheers for the shares guys, awesome tunes :+1:

I did make (try) my own tunes but couldn’t get anywhere close, so these two tunes were a huge help. Thanks again.

Congratulations on competing in the last two challenges - we fought for fractions of a second. In class C 4 competitors in 0.5 sec - that’s a fight
In class B 3 competitors in 0.4 sec.

Congratulations to everyone!

Results from C

Congratz Chevy on both the wins :crown: - I like how tight these challenges are with all you guys, so well done everyone :+1:

One of the next challenges made me lol… “Herencia” which I looked at yesterday. I had a time on there that must of been from when I first started.
Auto and all assists on, so I took a stock Polaris and ran a “cold” lap, and beat it
Guess my driving has improved a little after all.

Good luck all on the next ones.

Thank you! It’s in moments like these that you can see how much progress we’re making :flexed_biceps:. By the way, Polaris is really cool - you can do a lap without using the brake. I’ve used Bugatti in the RWD version before and it’s really cool, but Polaris has a better chance (I think). I kind of regret that I didn’t eliminate the Ford F450 in the B class challenge, my mistake. There’s a Ford F450 and nothing for a long time, and then the rest of the cars in this category.

To be fair, I try to avoid using brakes as much as possible, preferring to use the gears. It’s something I started this year to make me concentrate more, hence no ABS. Doesn’t always work though lol.

Indeed it is, surprisingly ! Which is great as I’ve been trying to find a use for those for ages.

Not tried the B challenge yet, so thanks for the heads-up… I’ll try the others out first.

I once had a period when I was driving without ABS and after a month I managed to remember about it on the road and try to adjust the braking. Unfortunately I never got to the point where it was better for me and gave me better times (as it should) I went back to ABS, my head is calmer :joy:. In B I really liked the Chevy K10 and Land Rover, later unfortunately I drove 450 and made a time that I could not beat with another car, I regret it very much. I set Polaris so that I only use 2nd and 3rd gear, so it starts very slowly (long first gear) on such settings I drive well, there you can not use the brake at all :flexed_biceps:

When we used to play FH4 i started that 5k hour adventure with m/with clutch and no abs. the simulation steering i had to get used to unlike in fh5 where it is much more forgiving. When i go back and get a car in fh4 if i have sim steering on i drive 3m and crash. Its like its not even close how the cars feel in each game.

When i drive the Veloster N, i have lots of options from i cant drive i need help to im a pro please don’t interfere. Im pretty sure you cannot turn everything all the way off like the stability control, but you can set the breaking to be little abs assist. oddly enough this is a 6 speed manual FWD with launch control, which i still forget is a thing in this car.
