The infamous Gumball Rally is an event that attracts daredevil participants from all over the globe - officially NOT a race according to the organisers (in order to get around stringent laws to prevent racing on the public highway) the event is a madcap dash across the continent with checkpoints and stop-overs to ensure that everybody drives the full route… Here the car is a track spec McLaren GT12C lightly modified for road use and presented in the blue wrap and livery of Sir Bertram Munter and his stunning former super model wife - Lady Helena. Sir Betram Munter - eldest of three fast living, daredevil brothers is a highly respected, international businessman and bon viveur, known to his friends as Bertie he is a fabulously wealthy property speculator and widely known for his motoring escapades and also his admiration for the British super spy character - James Bond who has inspired the eye catching wrap on this car. Though Gumball Rally cars are not outfitted with racing numbers the McLaren is clearly identified by the unsubtle 007 logos down each side along with faux bullet holes to finish.
