The three DLC cars mentioned don’t show in the Car Collections screen at all unless you actually have them.
On the livestream one of the presenters was asked if we had reached 800 cars in FH5. No was the answer.
I have all the cars which are currently available including DLCs and Oreo apart from:
2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray (Forza Motorsport required)
2017 Ford GT ‘OPI Edition’ (Eyelash? purchase required)
1932 Ford De Luxe Five-Window Coupe Forza Edition (New Elite controller purchase required)
My current total (excluding duplicates) is 785.
Cars which will be available shortly include:
2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie (Secret Santa 2)
2008 Aston Martin DBS (Series 29)
1969 Fiat Dino 2.4 Coupe (Series 29)
2022 Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 (Secret Santa 1)
2006 Koenigsegg CCX (Series 29)
2009 Lotus 2-Eleven (Series 28)
2000 Lotus 340R (Series 28)
2011 McLaren 12C Coupe (Series 29)
1967 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL (Series 29)
2019 Morgan Aero GT (Series 28)
2012 Pagani Huayra (Series 29)
2016 Spania GTA Spano (Series 29)
2022 Subaru BRZ (Series 28)
2016 W Motors Lykan Hypersport (Series 29)
Obviously with photos (Horizon Promo) Blueprint Events can be created which enable players to photograph cars which are within the game but not yet available or owned.
The Car Tracker app by Dimitriy Dotsenko currently says 779 cars with the OPI, Ford Coupe FE and Oreo included. It doesn’t have the new cars yet.
Just came here to say that I’m really happy to see Jaguar C-Type returning
I’m once again glad that PG not always takes Suggestions Hub votings into account when picking cars to add in updates
FH5 Car Count by date availability through January 2024
The number in the “no.” column is just to show the sequence of how many unique cars a player could own by that date. Players won’t be able to collect the 800 cars badge until mid January. If you don’t own the code-DLC Ford GT OPI, Ford Coupe FE, or Pagani Zonda Oreo, those cars won’t appear in the Car Collection and your total would reduce by up to 3. Secret Santa car date is dependent on gift progress so Santa could drop those at any time.

WHAT
Ford Horizon 5
Where do I get them from? I have the 4 new ones from the autoshow, now have 785 of 799.
You’ll have to buy the DLC codes on the 2nd hand market. They’re hefty though due to stupid scalpers… Not worth it imo. Just look up a Blueprint event if you want to drive them.
as pigeon wrote, it’s dependent on finding unused codes somewhere; if you can find an unopened limited-edition controller then you can get the Ford Coupe FE that way
at least they don’t show in your car collection
the Ford GT OPI and Zonda Oreo are similar to the base cars but have the liveries and are upgraded to 900
the Ford Coupe FE is . . . what it is, not even sure how to describe it - put it this way, I avoid using it
none of these cars are “worth” having outside of competionist fomo psychosis. which I must have, because I would pay a stupid amount for the OPI Ford if I could find one
I got lucky. I didn’t know about the OPI Ford and my husband snuck and got it for me. I even enjoyed the Xbox themed nail polish, so I must be that one person that actually didn’t mind that promotion (although to be fair I didn’t know it existed and it didn’t cost me anything).
I didn’t know about it either, I would have bought it when it was normal price
You’re blessed with a decent husband that’ll spend money on these things. He’s a keeper.
Nice job (husband) - won’t say the name as I know you like you’re privacy.
promo worked for me - bottle of something for my wife, set of colour testers for my sister - I didn’t know but when I asked my sister if whe wanted some nail varnish she said the liked OPI stuff before I mentioned what it was about!
I seemingly glitched my way into copies of the FE Coupe and OPI GT when I used a code for a free month of Game Pass Ultimate and played the game via streaming while on vacation. Both cars were added to my garage, and I could drive both of them while streaming the game. After the trial ended, both cars remained in my garage, but I can’t drive either one of them because I don’t technically “own” them. Still fun to have them as a curiosity though. What’s weird is that I was able to keep and still use the emote that also came with the controller, but not the shirt.
As for the Oreo Zonda, someone on the forums was nice enough to post a bunch of codes for us non-European types, so I managed to snag one.
At the end of the day, I sincerely hope these promotional tie-ins aren’t a thing in Horizon 6. They weren’t around for Horizon 4, and Horizon 4 was better for it.
We had James Bond and Hot Wheels cars in FH4. And Hoonigan too.
Those were car packs though, not random one off cars which required you to purchase non Forza related products.
There was a more equivalent idea initially in FH4 in the form of the PO cars though, which I understand initially were only available if you purchased through a specific retailer. The difference was I think they were all released in game over time though.
Yep. And they didn’t require a code/DLC to be used. That’s why many people tried to snipe the dupes in the AH.
