Forza Leagues: Tips, Tricks and Discussion

Forza Leagues are a new multiplayer feature in Forza Motorsport 6.

Unlike Hoppers, Leagues are competitively-minded and players are split into various Divisions based on their skill rating.
This rating goes up or down depending on how you do in races and at the end of each League you get a Credits reward based on your final league position.

There are 5 League Divisions, going from Grassroots all the way up to Pinnacle.
As you do better in races you’ll move your way up the ranks until you’re at a point where you’re getting close races with people of a similar skill level.

For a more in-depth explanation of Leagues, this FAQ post should help.

Since there’s no dedicated subforum for these as of yet, I figured having a thread like this may be useful for people to discuss active Leagues and share tips on cars, tracks etc.

I like the idea of Leagues, but the execution is frustrating. I do everything possible to race clean, but I get rammed constantly by other racers. I want to get away from the dregs as soon as possible. Are you saying that I have to podium to advance in tier? I’m more than capable of doing so when I’m not being bashed into walls and spun out. The few times that I’m lucky enough to be around the clean racers, I’ve made top 3 every time.

I tried the B Class race and got rammed and spun out seven times in the 2 lap race. Never again.

There’s still plenty of crashers and corner cutters in pinnacle.

I’ve played the GT League, where I’m already ranked Professional somehow. It does feel a little better. I’ve even had an entire race of clean drivers. Of course, I managed to get to the front of the pack so that could be why. I’m hoping that it’s just too early for the system to properly assess players’ skill and temperament. I missed the first League, so I haven’t completed one yet. I think that lap times would be another good metric to assess skill and tier. The bashers typically do so because they’re mediocre.

i know the crashers will get dropped from the top lobbies as goes on, however the people cutting corners are less likely to and they have complete disregard taking someone out staying on the track as the cut across a chicane.
Hopefully once the “endurance” racing lobbies come out normally attract’s the cleaner drives

I just got 1st two times in a row in B League right after posting this. I didn’t hit anyone to get there, either. Just clean racing and learning to anticipate vehicular missiles, lol. Those wins bumped me to the top 11%. I hope that moves me up a tier or two after the league finishes.

I know what you mean when you talk about the cutters. I had a few people do the same thing to me in the races that I mentioned. Unfortunately for them, they weren’t very good at it and ended up wiping themselves out.

I wish there was some sort of penalty system to discourage bad behavior. For example, ramming someone three times results in adjusted time and/or place at the end of the race.
