Same issue here. Both multiplayer and design storefront are not available. I hope they are taking servers down to fix the lag issue. The lag is driving me nuts.

To be honest, they’re probably just making sure the servers work on Xbox One.
They stopped working again. I am playing xbone version

The servers seem to mostly be up but I’m getting “Failed to download required Xbox Live Marketplace data. Please try again later.” whenever I attempt to access the Marketplace in-game on 360 (haven’t tried on Xbox One yet). I was getting “The Forza Horizon service is currently unavailable” a number of times last night though.
My guess is that the sudden influx of new/returning players is causing server issues.
It’s been doing this since the game became available via BC. I’m playing on the Xbox One as well and the servers have been very hit and miss. Not had any issues with lag though.

i cant play any multiplayer since it went onto xbox1
Any idea if singleplayer memory will restore? i had pretty much bought every car possible and it seems to have reset me.

Was your single-player save on the hard drive/memory unit or the cloud?
You won’t be able to access your single-player save on the X1 unless you uploaded it to the cloud first.
This was explained when BC was first announced…
It’s almost as if they under-estimated the number of new players taking advantage of the game being free, as well grossly under-estimating the number of returning players who were waiting for this game to become BC for a number of reasons, chief among them likely being they traded-in their 360s for X1s, in order to get back into it…
These server issues are driving me crazy. Keep trying to do 1000 club objectives but either they can’t upload when accomplished or the servers go down during a Timed Road Trip run.

Yeah I’m not able to connect to the market place at all and the paintshop to buy skins for my cars is very very slow, also the car club took about 40 minutes to finally add a friend to join club, how long will it take to fix, I am on Xbox 360 by the way
It could be a xbl live problem too… I was on Horizon 2 and every 15-20 minutes my profile would sign out in the middle of something, forcing the game to restart. I jumped on the 360 and its a mess… Set up the 360 to cloud sync for the xb1 horizon… everytime i start it up on the one, it starts out without syncing anything…

Before moving my storage to my cloud on Xbox 360, I finished a race and it wouldn’t send the ghost on rankings. Also, earlier in the day, I had an invite to my FH clan, but it said the services were not available. And then, like, 20 mins ago (or so), when I finally managed to get my account on Xbox One, and wanted to play multiplayer… Services AGAIN. So, it must not work for 1000 Club, even tho I haven’t tested yet… Anyways, that’s what brought me (and surely all of you guys) here.
Just double-checked and it’s not the servers, it says, but that my gamertag has been excluded from certain functionnalities. And I don’t have any message about that!
im always getting the same dumbass error too and its pathetic that forza horizon has the worst servers ive ever seen and ive only had this amazing game for a week

You guys literally have the worst servers. I bought the season pass for the DLCs and I can’t even download them because yall won’t let me connect. Thanks! >:(
I’ve yet to be able to play online since the game came to Xbox One. I’m not too surprised that no one is addressing the issue though. I’ve been asking for years about why Forza games on Xbox One don’t have the ability to create searchable custom public lobbies in multiplayer and the only time my question wasn’t just ignored the only answer I got was we’re not allowed to talk about that.
Was finally able to get to the multiplayer page and view the playlists for the first time for nearly 2 weeks! HOWEVER, the playlist lobbies were all empty and couldn’t access 99% of the custom lobbies as I get the message ‘player unreachable’ all the time. Almost 2 weeks has passed since this was BC, why haven’t these issues been fixed? Getting ridiculous now…
Edit: just now, I couldn’t join any lobbies at all, backed out to single player, went too the message centre, ‘the server could not be accessed at this time’ followed by very low frame rates, It’s not getting ridiculous, it IS ridiculous. Not one person from turn 10 has even acknowledged that there is a problem with the servers -_-
I got some Gold so I could play online tonight. I guess that won’t be happening considering the servers are down AGAIN.
