Forza Horizon 6 will be released on May 19, 2026. Early Access starts May 15th

Now what are your guesses for the Time Attack cars?

I don’t have any. As I said in one of my previous posts, they’re likely going to be grassroots builds by relatively unknown amateur and pro-am drivers. They could literally be anything.

Do you have guesses for the VIP and Welcome Pack Cars though?

Sky’s also the limit. Just that they’ll be special versions of existing cars from previous games.

What cars do you think will get the treatment in your opinion?

I predict the developers will likely skew towards Japanese cars for Forza Editions and Welcome Pack Editions.

Or are you not sure which cars could get the treatment?

I was bored, so I combed through Horizon 5’s car list to see how many cars could realistically get cut.

I took into account fictional editions of existing cars, racing versions of road cars, licensed pre-tuned cars, regional cult classics, and duplicates, specifically lower trim levels and pre-facelifts.

At most, Horizon 6 could stand to lose a little around 200 cars without a majority of the fanbase crying foul. That being said, however, I estimate that roughly another 150 cars will be lost between Horizon 5 and Horizon 6 if this rumor of only 550 cars at launch pans out.

I fully expect these to be cut:

  • Fast X Car Pack
  • Formula Drift (i expect some to be gone)
  • Hot Wheels
  • Universal Icons Car Pack
  • FE cars
  • Welcome Pack cars
  • Extreme E (its dead iirc)
  • GT3
  • GTE
  • TCR
  • Brabham BT62 (Company dispute with owners and Brabham family)
  • Hoonigan cars (they’re owned by an equity firm now, and had filed for bankruptcy)
  • “Base” variants of cars (Huracan, 488, 911 992 Carrera, Bronco, F-Type, Mustang GT, Agera)
  • Promo cars like the Barbie stuff
  • Donut cars

Pretty much what I had to a tee. I expect maybe some of the Hot Wheels cars to stick around, like Twin Mill, Bone Shaker, and Deora II, but anything from the Legends Tour will likely get axed and not return.

Cutting all the Mustang and 911 variants post 2015 would account for at least a hundred of the cars reduced.

Cutting all the poorly modeled cars does as well easily.

They are iconic cars so I don’t think all of them will be gone.

This promotional image that was released recently shows a Mitsubishi 3000GT. Although that car is already in FH5, this one is an older one as also mentioned by EricShip111 on YouTube. It’s the first model with straight rear wing. So this is a new car for Forza!

I was being sarcastic there, which I know isn’t obvious but lots of folk complain about the addition of endless variants of these two cars at the expense of well-beloved ones from other manufacturers.

Some of these variations possibly could have been added as body kits. For example, the assorted Lamborghini Huracans, especially the off-road one. As precedent, there’s a Mazda RX7 with a completely different front end, and I believe a Nissan wagon in one of the DLC packs also has that option, so it’s within the capability of the game mechanics.

The steering wheel is on the right so it’s the GTO version.

And I’m very happy to hear that it’s a JDM version of a Japanese car!

I hope they put the Huracán Evo Spyder from Motorsport into Forza Horizon 6!

We have enough Huracans, we don’t need anymore, it’ll be time for the Temerario to make its appearance in FH6 once we know what cars are coming
