I’ve enjoyed forza since Motorsport 2.
Horizon has been a nice touch.
So as a game based around great cars and driving, it was a surprise to me to see 2 choices in cars.
1 - A 1975 Toyota Celica that ISNT the GT Liftback.
The GT Liftback has a slightly more powerful stock engine and looks AMAZING. You want to give the player base the best cars, right? So what needs to happen to get that version of the celica into the game? (It’s been this same version of the celica since it was added multiple titles ago)
It was like being blueballed. “Hey look! A 1975 Celic-aw man…”
2 - a 1994 Honda Prelude Si, instead of the Prelude VTEC.
The prelude si comes with the lower horsepower, lower revving, 2.3L. The VTEC comes with the higher hp and higher revving 2.2L.
Again, blueballed. Can we get the version that should be in the game? It’s even the same body. Or at least that engine available for an engine swap.
3 - 1998 240SX with the USDM 2.4L (ka24de)
We have the s13 hatchback 240 with the 2.4, but not the s14. Also, make sure it’s a 1998 “Zenki”. The front end is far more attractive with aggressive styling than the pre-face lift s14’s which looks like a maximum at the front.
Of course we have an s14 with the 2.0T sr20 engine, but I have wanted the 2.4 for years in THAT car. At the very least let is swap it in. It’s not hard to do.
Like… guys, who do you have on staff that’s a car person making these choices? I don’t get it, help me understand.
