So since I started forza horizon 4 demo I immidiately noticed something weird: the sounds. Some sounds were extremely sharp, some sounds had no bass at all, it wasn’t pleasant. Upon investigating my problem further, I noticed that the game doesn’t want to use my razer synapse settings since I am using razer kraken 7.1 headphones. Whatever sound setting I changed within razer synapse, the sound didn’t change at the slightest. It’s the only game that has the problem, even forza horizon 3 doesn’t have that problem.
Sorry to revive posts, but does ANYONE have any answer to this? I’ve tried literally everything I’ve found online, but nothing has worked, and we’re now… 4 years? Into the games release.
I have found the solution and its working for horizon 5. First you need to download FxSound (https://www.fxsound.com/) the free version of course. When the application is download you just need to select youre audio device and youre done. You dont need to tweak the equalizer or pressing the power button on the application. Make sure its running in the background and you should be fine.
