I have been playing offline and have noticed a problem with the drivatars. When racing, the starting grid only has level 1 drivers. Also, no designs are showing up on the cars. In freeroam the levels seem to be low as well. My level is around 40 and I’m competing against level 1 cars.

Just to be clear, I do have an internet connection but I do not have Xbox live Gold. With Horizon 3 I had raced against multilevel drivatars and saw a variety of drivatar designs. While this doesnt ruin the game for me, it is a slight annoyance.

The level one drivatars also just use the same starter cars or free DLC when you set championship to Anything Goes
I’ve noticed this as well.
Does the difficulty setting affect this?
I’m playing on PC and I can connect to multiplayer just fine. It’s only when I play single player do I see all the level 1 drivatars. I’m level 180 something at the moment, I doubt it actually affects their difficulty (how well they drive) but it still doesn’t look normal to me. Can someone confirm?
Nothing to do with difficulty.
Agree I observe when offline. When I am online it doesn’t seem to be an issue.
I have the same thing, unfortunately can’t connect to online because of the annoying DNS error. And yeah, difficulty doesn’t have to do with anything because i’ve worked my way up from Hard to Unbeatable driveatars and they are all lvl1.
