Hello there. How come the xp bump skill perk doesnt work properly on forza horizon 3. It doesn’t triple the skills xp. It shows it has at the end of the race. Lets say the level shows 50 before the race. After the race at the earning stage it shows 75. When I go to drive around after the race it shows 55. So it doesnt work so I’ve wasted like 100s of skill points. Is there a solution. Thanks.
It does work the way it should

You get the regular skill xp plus that again X2 which equates to 3X
You dont get 3X on top

No. It really doesnt work. Lets say if im level 400 before a race. Level 450 when im earning my credits and awards (because it says in the top left corner my level). And after it , like when I finish the race and enter free Rome it says like 420. It shows the xp bump because it shows that it has multiplied my skills by 3 and has worked at the end but it doesnt stick or apply what has happened. For the xp bump perk, when I use it, it doesn’t work, and it says 2 races remaining even though it hasn’t done anything. As a result of this I have wasted way over a 100 skills on just this perk. I don’t get why it doesn’t work. I really nead it as I do like a 40 lap goliath race once in a while and it doesnt add anything. So im like only getting the skills xp but not the triple xp bump thing. If theres a solution thanks.

I’ve never heard of someone going up 50 levels in 1 race
the xp bump only applies to skill xp too, not the regular xp
yes i know, i was just giving an example. im saying that it doest stick ad save the skills xp. it shows the the game acts as if i haven’t used the perk
I noticed xp bump perk not being consumed while I was doing the bucket lists earlier today. may be update related
Edit; I just tested and while the XP bump perk is not being consumed, it still gives you the perk effect. And yes I got to keep the XP it gave me. I increased from level 756 to 757.
There was no 3 times XP. Just 3x skills xp to the best of my knowledge and Talby explained that, 2nd post
I’ve never noticed my level not being the same while playing game – only place where I saw it different was on club leaderboard where it seemed to be behind by a race or two. Never from race credits to free roam though

It works as described: 3x skills XP. Thus:
Total XP with Perk = (Race XP * 3)
Not:
Total XP with Perk = Race XP + (Race XP * 3)
The latter would be 4x. The perk does not work with bucket lists nor does it work in online co-op, hence “campaign race”.

That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that it shows that it has tripled the skills and given the correct amount. But after the race it hasn’t saved the skills xp. So my level goes back down as if I haven’t used the perk when I have.
You arent really making much sense
Are you saying your xp level goes back to what it was before you did the race
You really need to post screen shots to show what you are on about
You level wont go up that much just on skill xp
Record a game clip of it not working as it should and post it. That usually sorts everything out
