The NAPA Chassis Car Pack is the third regular monthly add-on which increases the game roster with 5 cars. The pack costs $4.99 or free for Car Pass owners (included in the Ultimate Edition). In addition, the 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 is free to all players after installing the content update.

The cars were made visible in the game by a content update for the game on December 2. Car Pass owners can access the cars via the Buy Cars menu, and all players will be able to access the Lotus from the menu for free. Players seeking to purchase the NAPA pack can attempt to buy a car from the Autoshow and respond to the prompt. Purchasing DLC does not automatically put the cars in your garage - you will need to obtain them from the Autoshow or Buy Cars menu. Each purchased add-on car can be added to your garage for free once without using in-game credits. After the freebie, obtaining additional cars of the same model from the Buy Cars list will cost credits. It’s recommended that players wait for the content update and DLC downloads to install completely (100%) before attempting to play in order to prevent issues with buying DLC cars. Information on whether DLC cars will be included among the Wheelspin prizes will be noted later.
Secondary profiles on a shared XBL Gold member console will be able to access DLC cars in the game without purchasing the pack, but gamesave benefits may only be available to the account that purchased the pack. As a result, secondary profiles may not have the one-time-for-free tag for DLC cars and may need to use credits to transfer the cars to their in-game garage. Secondary accounts may be able to purchase the DLC from Xbox.com in order to receive DLC benefits.
