Guys you still have to say you want to compete in the championships even if you completed the first race. I just got an email from them. Using google chrome to translate the web pages i listed my “presence” on the leaderboard (the little green light is illuminated next to your gamer tag on the board)
Im in division #108
I’m in division #47.
I was able to find the schedule and restrictions, but haven’t been able to find some other information.
Are we hot lapping or racing?
If racing: What time of day and is it simulated damage?
i found this
im guessing it will still be in the rivels section since there are no start times.
This translates to:-
–With 1,374 recorded during the test warm-up time , which was completed on January 8, the Championship of France looks already highly competitive. i’m in division #127 and there is 2 drivers who speak english
Best that i can tell, the first race on the 13th is to be held at 22:00. That i susspect would be their time in France at 10:00pm. I believe we have a 8 hour difference to the east coast U.S. Guessing you get a game invite at that time if you have said you would be present. Or in the case of the XBOX ONE now, a party invite. Not really shure. Or will it be in the Rivals section??? LOL I’m so confused!!! Need to let them know by tommorow the 11th if you are going to be present or absent or other. I cant do a weekday in the middle of the day. Guess I will have to put absent in order to stay in for the Saturday races…
The US east coast is 6 hours behind Paris. That would be 4pm EST. It’s going to be tough to get there. We’ll have to see.
I didn’t think I was allowed to compete since I’m english speaking only?
Any advice?
I’m guessing due to the nature of Forza 5 not having the custom lobbies feature, it’ll most likely be a hotlapping contest rather than a race format.
They have redone the divisions to remove the drivers that did not say they were present. This will be a race and not a rivals event. It will take place on Thursday 22:00 (will work on confirmation). It is very important that you add your league’s host as a friend so they can invite you into the race. My host was nice enough to send a message. I have asked for some more information and will share it when I know. It looks to be 25 laps with simulation damage.
I’ll need to learn how to say “On your right!” in French.
My host sent a friend request to everyone in my division as well. We’ll see if I’ll actually be available to race at that time.
dans ton adriot i think, but highschool french was over 30 year ago. the numbers are un (un) deu (do) trois (twa) quat (cat) sinq (sank) seis (cease) sept (set) huit (wheat) nerf (nerf) dix (dees) onze (owns) deux (dues) tres (trez) quatores (cat tours) quinz (cans) seiz (say’s). left is gauche if i remeber right.
and maybe it was just because i was stationed in pirmasens germany about 6 miles from the french border but all the french i met spoke english. all the germans too. unless things have changed in the last 20+ years they can speak and understand english…they just dont want to. if you are getting ready to take them out they may not verbally respond in english but odds are they’ll adjust their car anyway. they probably understand what you said. the euro school system requires students to learn a second language. for economic and entertainment reasons that language is probably going to be english.
I was down to host in my division, but having had some instructions through on what is expected, I’ve had to change my position to participant only. Even once converted the instructions don’t make much sense.
Apparently there are graphics that everyone needs to put on their cars for the event as well - how many of you have done that?
Are you from the US? If so, I have created a number board and can make one for you with your number that I will put in my “sharefront” if you like?
I’m from the US. That would be awesome. My number is 3232.
