Hey guys,
Been looking around on the forums and noticing that many people have been having crashes since the latest update.
My game refuses to get past the loading screen no matter which fix I tried (even rolling back to an older version of Nvidia driver which worked before), so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It worked fine, got to the Ford GT loading screen no issues and then started automatically syncing with my microsoft account.
The instant the sync hit 100%, the screen turned white and the game crashed. And I return to the same problem of continually crashing at the Ford GT screen.
So now I’m wondering if it is indeed my save file. And if it is, my question is: how does one go about deleting a cloud save of Forza Apex? Logging in to Xbox services on my browser wasn’t helpful and I don’t see any option to delete save games on Forza Hub either.
Any help is much appreciated!
I have the same problem. Worked fine before the last update.
I had reinstalled my Nvidia driver using clean install and that allowed it to load again. After a few races it crashed again and now it is crashing at loading screen again.
I have the same issue now, just finished the mercedes amg showcase around yas marina and when I hit the menu whitescreen crash, now I crash as soon as it tries to load after the ford gt screen
Game ran fine for hours last night and earlier today, maybe something with that car?

I attempted to play this evening and I having the same problems
I start Forza 6 apex and I see the Microsoft Studio splash and here the car zoom by
Then I see the Ford GT splash screen. The rear of the blue car
On the bottom right I see the spinning circle, I assume it is attempting to read the save file
On the left hand I see RIVAL RECOMMENDATION
and then BOOM!
Drops me back to the desktop. Could be a corrupt save file.
What makes me mad is that instead of crashing it should be able to detect the problem and ask me if it is okay to create a new file.
Anyway, SOL, can no longer play
Same happened to me. It’s hard to love this game!
edit: for some reason, loading the store and clicking open from the game’s store page fixed it.

However, I may have found some other issues with the game
Opening from windows store doesn’t fix it. I also never got round to ever doing the Mercedes AMG event.
I did get to the Koenigsegg Agera beat the stig thing in the normal tour/single player mode. Last driving I did was with that car (and some others) in practice mode around the Top Gear test track.
Installing the latest drivers from Nvidia (clean install version 368.39) didn’t help either.
At this point I’m just gonna wait for the next update of the game and redownload it. Hopefully it’ll work then.
yep same just happened to me. only installed yesterday, just run the Merc event at Yas Marina and after i finished it CTD and won’t reload again…
