If you want to draw an analogy between the two, it helps to provide some sort of context. This is a minor feature of a cheap consumer product, not a business-critical app that people are paying 6+ figures a year for; personally I’d be astonished to find anyone supporting that outside local office hours.
I also occasionally get called in at weekends with demands to fix things immediately, but that’s because a production stop costs us more than T10’s annual budget each day.
