Forza 7 league racing false tire grip or set too simulation tire?

I tune a car too race online too my liking on free race, but go race on league and my cars drive like there on ice for the first 3 laps then it starts too grip. And it says no where that league races will be using simulation tires, restriction limited too no friction assist by player,So what are the tires set too on leagues? So I can tune cars accordingly

Note I run TCS off unless R-class and do not use friction assist ether

I noticed a difference in the tire wear between practicing with the P1 in Free Play and on the most current Rivals Challenge as well. Wasn’t familiar with the track so couldn’t manage a clean lap on the first Rivals attempt. Went to Free Play to practice, having never touched the P1 I own until this moment so as stock as the game gives; by lap 10 I had managed to wear the front tires to yellow and the rear were just about to become yellow; managing a clean lap and just under the :10 sec mark. Went back to the Rivals challenge, ran another 10 laps; this time I managed a clean lap but was stuck in the :12’s, looked down at tire wear and everything was still white, didn’t feel like continuing to lap to warm up the tires.

Once in a league lobby go to race setup and see how it’s set.

Unfortunately cars in multiplayer don’t have the same feel as when they are used in single player. Many players in my league have noticed that a car’s feel can change between races in the same private lobby session.

I agree with the earlier posts. I have added a tune to a car and then gone to free play and the it feels really good and easy to drive. Then you drive the same car in the league lobbies and it understeers like crazy. It is like the tune does not load or the car changes because of the change to the racing environment. This also happened in FM6 sometimes but it is way worse in FM7and completely ruins the racing online .

I think the heat of competition has gone to your heads. It feels exactly the same

At the start of the race you get cold tires and they take at least one lap to get to proper temperature, so you won’t have optimal grip from the start and if someone rams you the car might take even longer to warm up its tires.

RWD cars understeer for obvious reasons (front tires are cold at the start). Your optimal tune might feel “optimal” in perfect conditions but less so when tires are cold.
