WOW GAME IS ALL MS XBOX ONE and the APP is not for MS or Windows 10 or Windows LOL I Got Nothing this is Funny
and in English?
Can we get some tuning love for WP8.1 or even Windows 10?
Quick update on this, I used Forzatune 5 to tune the Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse and it felt weird and sliding about all over the place. Went back to Forzatune 4 and got a perfect tune for it.
I’m guessing Forza 6 works the same way as Forza 4 in regards to the camber settings.
I’m using -0.9 on the front and -0.6 on the rear and it’s pretty much planted.
But I’m finding the differential settings on Forzatune 5 are better than 4 for this car, using 40/10 works perfect.
What I do find with both calculators is the brake balance and pressures they come up with don’t particularly suit me.
I’m using between 50 and 60% on the balance and from 130 to 160% on the pressure.
I’m not really an advocate of tuning calculators… They only point you in the right direction, and they often create issues that are so hard to tune out that you just ended up starting from scratch anyway. Learning how to fine tune yourself will be rewarding, especially as far as lap times are concerned - you’ll easily gain a second over a calculator tune. Also, NEVER trust a calculator with your gears… Those definitely need to be tailored to each track, and a trial and error session of about 5-10 minutes will yield a perfect gearbox for any track.
And as far as camber, low camber does seem to work in this game again. I remember FM4 used just below -1.0, FM5 was somewhere in the -3.0 range, and now FM6 likes it below -2.0. I have some cars working flawlessly with 0.0 camber.
I been using Forza Tune 5 for several cars now and it seems to be working just fine, the biggest issue is still the fact that the game no longer displays displacement i hope Turn 10 is fixing that issue with the next update
I was not a fan of the tune from the app on the phone. For most of Forza 5, I used the Forza 4 calculator excel sheet - I really hope they update it for Forza 6 - and if the car wasn’t in there, I used the Three Minute Tune found elsewhere on this forum and it’s a pretty good baseline tune that you can tweak.
Turn 10 has to fix the cars calculator for Brazilian people, the final speed cant be viewed because of the numbers of it are being under others informations .
Turn10 does not make a Forza tuning calculator. Any and all calculators found for a Forza Motorsport game are third party applications for Windows, Android, and iOS.
I am hoping someone can help with this question. I am not much of a car guy to be honest I actually hate cars but I love racing games. Is there a good place to learn how to tune your car is Forza? I get what tire pressure is but not in terms of racing everything else I am at a loss. THX ahead of time for any responses to this post ![]()
This was my go-to guide for FM4; most of the principles should remain the same for FM6.
FYI the new ForzaTune 6 is now available.
iOS is here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/forzatune-6/id1038589633?mt=8 and
Android can be found here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flamefrontstudios.forzatune6.ft6&hl=en
This will be the 3rd Forza Tune I have bought and I really like them. I really like certain peoples tunes ( PTG ) and almost always work better than anything else I try for me. Every now and then I just can’t find that perfect tune I’m looking for. This gives me a pretty decent starting point to build off of.
Also I really like the gearing part of the app. Just put in a few values and it then tells you all you need for gearing and you can still adjust it if you want.
I have never even heard of these apps! I didn’t know such things existed. I should have figured there would be… I enjoy the tweaking aspect of the games. I have a couple of things that I set as a baseline then run a lap or two to test. My favorite test course was Mugello I wish we had it for 6, I would love to test drive on it in the rain.
Give me the calculations and I give you a calculator fully mobile responsive !
Notice I use ‘give’ twice, as you get something for something (can’t find good tuning formulas -,-)
If you know, please let me know those formulas, the faster I have them, the faster you get your mobile responsive calculator ![]()
Does this have a drag option?
ForzaTune 6 has been out for a little while now. Seems to work pretty good for me. The app gets me in the ballpark and then I have something I can start tweaking to get dialed in. Most of these cars are such a mess that I wouldn’t even know where to start.
What I will never understand is why the cars are just so pathetically bad from the get go. I mean if most of the cars rolled off the showroom floor like this there’d be a hell of a lot of lawsuits. ![]()
With that said I don’t know if everyone is going to like the way the cars drive because of the differences in technique and stuff and I am pretty sure that these won’t be leaderboard cars, but I enjoy being able to go around a corner at least a few times in a race.
I’m not saying that the initial tunes are realistic, but I would expect the showroom tune to be pretty bad for most cars. Track performance for the vast majority of cars isn’t a top priority. They typically prioritize ride quality/smoothness, tire wear, fuel efficiency and safety (emphasizing understeer) over track times. They also have to handle much different surfaces, being able to survive potholes and go over speed bumps/humps. For any car that isn’t designed from the get go as a pure track toy/race car it would be suspicious if the factory tune was a really good track tune. Also, for most cars prior to tuning the car you change parts; which pretty much invalidates the tune.
When upgrading parts, dropping weight from the vehicle etc., make sure you add the race springs after you have done everything else.
By doing this, the game sets spring and damping rates based on the new weight / post car-modifications.
These suspension settings are pretty good out of the box in most instances (aside from camber settings and ride height which you may want to tweak)…and so all that really needs to be adjusted is tire pressure, differential, brake bias, gearing, and aero - all of which are very easy as compared to setting proper spring and damping rates.
I have got to the point now where I can establish a base-tune within 10 minutes or less…

I didn’t know that, good tip.
If I did the Suspension first, but then uninstall and reinstall it at the end, will the defaults still change accordingly or does the game “remember” that you have already used it?
