Forza 5 TX wheel get wheel button mapping?

Hi there, recently got a tx wheel and a get rim add on and the gte rim is impossible to use because the buttons do not work as the mapping says they should. The d pad doesn’t work and it is impossible to navigate through any menu. Is there something I am missing or did I do something wrong?

Have you made sure you have the .45 tx firmware installed? You will need to use a pc to check that.

i’d be really frustrated if that was the issue as I do not have a pc, only a mac. to me it would seem pretty pointless to have to have pc to make approved parts work with my xbox one

I cant help with that unfortunately, all I can suggest is to find a friend with a windows laptop, and ask if you can use it to check your wheels firmware.

I have the GTE wheel and the D pad works fine on the Xbox One and PC, but in game navigating through menus I’m unable to move left with the D pad, so I use a game pad for that. I’ve not reported it to TM yet, but will do.

I’m thinking August update on FM5 will give us mapping. When we get free car pack. The recent V47 firmware update gives the option to now. Just need Turn 10 to implement it.
