Everything was working fine yesterday, but today the game get stuck on the P1 splash screen. Is this a known issue or does someone have a fix? 
Try a reboot. Or unplug it for 30 seconds and try again

I get the same error. Very frustrating.
I’ve had the same thing happen - incomplete launch into the game - with the digital version. If you check in Settings/Network you may note information of Xbox LIVE, “The following service is experiencing issues: Purchase and Content Usage.”
That information will update directly from Xbox LIVE when there are changes, but seems to be an issue on the Xbox side, not the game.
Does it say “Error, took to long to launch” or something along those lines? If so the only fix that worked for me was uninstalling and re-installing the game. Assuming it’s a digital download.
