Forza 5 DLC

Look, I’m thinking about getting dlc for forza 5 and I already have the VIP pass. I was looking at the LaFerrari pack but I’m just wondering which of the dlcs would be the best. At this point I’m just looking for opinions and if any turn 10 staff read this let me know your favorite.

I’m not staff but I’d just say buy the ones that have cars that you like in them!

Also, there is a car pack releasing tomorrow, so I would wait until then and see what comes in the next pack just in case.

At the moment, only the December, January & February Car packs have come out. The March Car Pack will most likely come out tomorrow or the Tuesday after that. So I recommend just looking at those packs and deciding if you want the entire pack or just a few cars. I bought the Car Pass, thinking the game would have just as many single player races as Forza 3 & 4 did but I was terribly wrong. You can finish the game in about a week or 2 depending on how many races you do per day. So in my honest opinion, it’s not worth buying the Car Pass unless you plan to play the game online a lot after finishing all of the Single Player races, or if you just like collecting cars.

This - first Tuesday of the Month (which is currently only got 5.5 hours left for me).

Its just me but I think most the DLC cars are dumb and not worth the money I wish I could have rented before wasting my money but the one car im happy with was the LaFerrari a nice car

I’ve personally purchased the season pass for Forza 4, 5 and Horizon and have not been disappointed yet.

For anyone on the forum, I have a question about the DLC packs. I just looked at their file sizes and saw that they were only 10-15MB. Is Turn 10 just packing all the DLC into the patches that we have been getting every month or so? Then we are just downloading unlocks? I don’t want this to turn into bashing, I am just curious about the wizardry going on behind the scenes.

I believe this has to be done so even the people not getting the dlc can race against those cars online and drivatar. Maybe another way to entice people to get the dlc if they lose to a dlc car. Just my own opinion. ?

This would be correct.

As a car pass holder I’m enjoying each moth’s cars, and the added breadth of my “Jay Leno” garage. I’ve been having the most fun with the January IGN pack. Sure, the Caterham was all over the place at first I could hardly stand to race it enough to pay for itself. But an AWD tune has turned it into a go-to favorite for me. The 1957 Ferrari 250 California is my easiest-to-race classic to date. The Tipo Birdcage is a unique and gorgeous piece of history: tuning it In a way that works for my driving style has been an education.

The LaFerrari is a great car, and I’ve made good use of the Ford Cosworth and the Lotus Esprit. But as a pack it’s outshined by the January IGN. Buying one pack now, though? Well, February’s Smoking Tire pack is pretty good too, and the March pack may include cars that strike your fancy.
