Hi. I purchased the Forza 5 Limited Edition, but I did not open it yet since I don’t have an xbox one yet. I would like to wait till next year, when the new xbox comes out. Does anyone know the END OF LIFE for the dlc in Forza 5? Thank you.
No one knows - especially given T10 usually don’t say anything about it until AFTER the EOL date has passed.
Well that’s unfortunate. Do I need to redeem the dlc from in game store if I buy the car pass, or will I just be able to buy the dlc cars like normal once it scans that I have the car pass? Jeez, I hope that powerful new xbox releases q2 at the latest next year. It looks like Forza 5 is the biggest grind yet :D.
I think you still have at least another year, as FM3’s and FM4’s DLC was end-of-lifed four years after release. For the record, Horizon hasn’t been end-of-lifed yet, but I don’t see that sticking around much longer.
Hopefully the Xbox 1.5 or Xbox 2 or whatever it’ll be called will release sometime in the spring of 2017 or summer 2017 at the latest so I can download the dlc for Forza 5 before it gets delisted.
Is it Turn 10 that handles the DLC control and not Microsoft? I was just wandering because I got Forza 5 limited this past Friday. I loaded everything and all the packs installed. I bought the car pass as well. By Saturday I was down to 23 cars. Tonight I got back it seams the car pass cars individually. But the Vip or hot wheels cars will show up. Microsoft says contact you?. I would just like the tuned cars that came with the limited edition.
Thanks
Randy
It would be nice if they annouced EoL, but as other users have said Forza 4 wasn’t EoL’d for several years after all DLC was released. I am coming back to the game and am just awaiting the purchase of my XBox One and the arrival of my FM5 Limited Edition (which I never thought I’d be able to get this late in the game, pun intended.) The car pass provides access to all content, except VIP, Limited and Day One packs (which I’m not concerned about at this point,) correct?
