Maybe some history: I started making liveries in Forza because I couldn’t work because of depression and anxiety causing physical problems. I couldn’t get out of the house because of this so I started playing Forza because I like nature/cycling. Driving in Forza very slowly wouldn’t overload my brain and still I got enjoyment.
My job was a graphic designer when the bad times began. Back then I didn’t know if my brain would start working again enough if I would ever be able to design again. (it did as you can see here , although not as before, but it’s great It got back again this much).
I say all these things because: If you read this and you have mental health problems: They will get better and you will learn to deal with your hurdles and accept which you can’t change. I got a lot of therapy from psychiatrists, help from my parents, sleep, anxiety and anti-depressants which helped, but slowly. Also mindfullness meditation (Gil Fronsdal, Jon Kabat Zinn, Sam Harris & Joseph Goldstein) And slowly, being able to walk again further than the end of the street I live in so I could go on walks again.
Thanks everyone for your very kind words. It was nice to put these all together in one place. Nice memories from over the years of all the things we’ve done together and the contests. Thanks for all your kind words and the warmth of this community.
Personally I like idea’s and quirky concepts. I really like the race car design with Ublock origins addblocker, with blocked ads.
I know we had a wee disagreement way back but ever since we resolved that I’ve had nothing but respect for you mate. And the way you’ve just spoken so openly about you’re mental health issues has only reaffirmed that respect. I won’t go into my own issues here but I can say that I can relate to some of what you wrote and agree that speaking about these things like you have is important to help get rid of the stigma that still so often surrounds them. And im glad you seem to be in a good place just now.
As for your designs, as has already been said, they’re superb mate. All very original but there’s a definite style running through them that identifies them all as yours. I hope you’ll be getting horizon 6 and bring some of these and some new work there.
