A proposed competitor to the Corvette and Dodge Viper that sadly never entered production. The only ever prototype called Project Daisy was sold in 2021 for a massive $2,640,000.
This used an all-new Aluminium Chassis to reduce weight and improve handling but also a completely new 6.4L V10 engine which was unique to the car.
With a Redline of 7500rpm and peak output of 605hp and 501 lb-ft the designers expected it to be able to reach over 800hp if Twin-Turbo charged which would give even modern LS Engines a run for their money.
Unfortunately the car never entered production due to the upcoming recession and expected poor profit returns and so it got shelved. Carroll Shelby had attempted to License it from Ford so he could make it himself but expected production costs were in the region of $83,000,000 and so Shelby would need to sell over 5000 Cars to just break-even.
