Need to which aspiration to go with and which is better out of the turbos, twin turbo, centrifugal supercharger and the twin screw supercharger.
I prefer either naturally aspirated or super charger
I hate any sort of delayed power since I usually run high RPM in the turns which will cause my tail to whip out if there is a sudden burst of torque
I’m happy to make a recommendation, but I need a little more to go on. What car are you building, with what engine, and for what class? These things are important when deciding which way to go.
Generally, a naturally aspirated setup has the least weight (no compressor) and has excellent throttle response. Turbochargers add a bit of weight, but they produce significant gains in power and torque, however being driven by waste heat, they will usually have some lag. A single turbo usually has more lag than a twin turbo setup, but twin turbos usually cost more to install and upgrade. A twin turbo setup may also weigh more than a single turbo. Superchargers also add weight and are a bit less efficient than turbochargers due to being belt-driven. A roots-type (twin-screw) supercharger is best used when low and mid-range boost are the main goal. These are excellent for street performance applications (the reason the Ford GT, GT500 Mustangs, Cadillac CTS-V, Camaro ZL-1 and Corvette ZR-1 all use them stock), but they often lose efficiency as the revs climb. A centrifugal supercharger is simpler, and it produces more boost the faster you spin it, for a much more linear boost curve. For an engine spending most of it’s time at high revs, it’s a solid choice. Each setup has different characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. As a result, there’s no “universal right answer.” Driver preferences are just as important as the vehicle’s characteristics when you make this decision.
I prefer N.A. engines, with their (generally) smoother power bands.
Centrifugal supercharger is usually best value for pi spent in most cases.
If that is not available I would go for na or twin screw.
Turbos are usually the last option I would go for.
NA is pretty competitive in this game. CS is probably the pick of the induction options in most cases. You get more usable power and don’t have to spend too much PI because of the slight weight gain. All of the induction options get pretty noisy once you move above Street, so you have to be prepared for an intrusive soundtrack.
I install the centrifugal supercharger whenever I can. If it’s not available t I don’t bother going with forced induction at all.
