For all of you who like exiting the map on tag :)

I play a lot of tag ever since Forza 3, but lately I’ve been noticing that a lot of people have been pulling out the Subaru WRX 04, and doing the map exiting thing, or they fit their car in one of those holes nobody else can enter. Because people like that enjoy cheating so much, and thinks its hilarious to just quit the map (or drive into the hole) and see everyone drag race to have something to do until the guy decides its a good time to stop, I really don’t think they should be trusted to do their own thing. As the ‘Kick’ option in the lobby is possibly the most useless feature I’ve ever seen in any game, and because there are so many of them nowadays, I’ve decided to take matters onto my own hands. Every time I play tag and there is someone in a WRX, Evo, beetle, mini, elan, eclipse and so on, I instantly assume they are attempting to cheat. So I pull out the SL65 (700+hp, 600+ torque, 3800lb) (or Mini), and when the game begins I follow them from a distance. If any attempts of cheating are made, then I will be sure to put the guy against a wall and chase him down the entire game, then the next, then the one after that, until they eventually quit. I know that it shouldn’t be up to me to be acting as ‘police’, but I’ve seen that this generally works and cheaters don’t cheat. So guys, instead of urging T10 to do something about it, take matters onto your own hands and stop the cheaters from cheating yourselves. I’ve started a ‘Police force’ on my own but I am sure that i am not the only one who has done this. So whenever you see the WRX, or Evo, or any other car you know has the ability to cheat, pull out them Jags and Chryslers and Mercs and put a few dents on them

And as for you who thinks its cool to cheat, if we are ever in the same lobby be sure there will be a black SL65 right behind you

It’s not the player’s job to police online lobbies.

It’s wrong to assume anything about another player’s behavior solely based on the car they are using.

You should really read this thread, and this thread.

Instead of playing policeman - the correct action is to report and then block.

So I’m supposed to watch the other guy exit the map and spend the next few hours driving around aimlessly waiting for him to come?
And as for the threads, I had read both before, but this is tag and, unlike in racing (which I also do a lot of, in S class) its not dirty to hit other people.
Lastly, as we speak, I’m in a tag game in which a Caterham left the map for the desert… it took a BRZ to go out and tag him.

Why do people keep saying the kick option is the most useless thing.

If there is a griefer in a lobby and people vote to kick them it works.

Yes I know there is a way the griefers can avoid it but they do not all take that route.

Vote to kick works. I have used it many times and people do get kicked. I can not understand why people say it does not work.

the main problem with the kick system is people assume its useless so dont bother voting, but if they just voted anyway it would work alot better.

I never play tag but see this complaint a fair bit and dont understand it. I dont see how hiding in a gap that your car fits but others in bigger cars cant get in is cheating surely thats using the obsticals as they were ment to be used. As long as your in the map and not half glitched in a wall surely ya plaing the games as its ment to be played.

Also as crunchy said asuming somones cheating because there in a certain car is just wrong and “policing” yourself could land you in more trouble than than the “cheaters”

Going out of bound is in my eyes a definite violation but between the containers I have no problem with as anyone can pick a smaller car and go between the containers and it’s not like they can’t get tagged with someone else with a smaller car. If you are concerned just use the same car as the person you are worried about and when / if you get tagged first go and tag the person with the other small car in the container gap. Pretty easy solution

I doubt there is anyone who play tag often and has never met someone in the subaru with the cheating in mind… and seen that most videos that show how to do this, as well as being the most used car FOR this, I would believe that someone who is driving a Subaru (with these circumstances in mind) has a higher probability to do the cheat than one in, say, a Pagani, or any other car has.

I’m not saying that EVERY one in the Subaru or any other cars cheats, its just that most cheaters tend to use it for that end… But I just dont feel like spending hours waiting for someone to come back to the map.

And as for the fitting the small car in the space, I do see your point. But what if nobody else in the field has a car small enough to fit, and the guy in the space decides to stay there for a long time… hours even?

As for the “policing”, its a last resort thing. Not something I really enjoy doing, but I’m at level 25 with Mercedes solely from this and I lost count of the people I’ve already blocked and reported lol

Don’t assume too much. I once entered a drift lobby in a ford raptor… Everyone else assumed i was going to wreck them all.

I took off and scored the most points in the lobby with it.

At least wait and see what people do in tag before judging them.

Kick is broken somewhat. If you have 9 people lets say. And 3 vote to kick somebody it wont be enough. Then next time in the lobby another handful will kick, but the other 3 can’t vote again. The kick wont work. I have seen this a dozen times. Literally have had over 10 people in the lobby with mics who all voted and nothing because it happened at different times as not everyone picked up on the cheater/crasher the first time.

And the OP DOES say that he watches and waits to see if they will cheat before he does anything about it. He isn’t just terrorizing players in Subarus. Personally I commend him for making sure the whole lobby has a better time. Even though he shouldn’t have to.

You only need to vote once per person per lobby and will carry on to all next events. The people telling you they were voting were probably yanking you chain/ cheating… And for everyone in this thread that keeps saying don’t judge someone before seeing what they’re doing… The creator of this thread made it very clear that he or she watches before making the decision to wreck Um so…

Grab the same car so you can leave the map and tag them.

Not saying that I disagree with what you are doing, but technically it is likely a violation of the XBox Live TOS. YOU know that you are not targeting innocent people, but they could still report you for harassment and you could still end up with a ban. Better to report/block/move on.

On the plus side, Microsoft is rolling a new program where good standing members of the XBL community have much more direction of where the ban-hammer lands. Right now it is in beta and only allows Ambassadors to join: Xbox Support

Those you spot glitching or wrecking people and ruining normal game play, should be REPORTED by going into VIEW GAMER CARD, then Report or block, followed by Report, then select Unsporting behavior. There is then a box to fill in “CRASHER” - disruptive in races, causes wrecks, etc. Followed by Report to Xbox.

If you have the accurate gamertag, in the Xbox One Dashboard, go to Friends, in the left column use either “Recent Players” or “Find someone” and put the tag in there. The same reporting system as above is in effect, and you can file the report there.

This sends a report directly to the Xbox LIVE Policy Enforcement Team which will investigate, maybe even visit and observe the offender during gaming sessions, and then ban that person from not just a single game but Xbox LIVE itself.

We have the right to expect fair play in our games, and the cheaters and those who glitch should be reported. If you don’t report them, you are condoning their actions. Remember, too, you can give good reports!

There is no argument over the rules of the Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct, everyone agrees to abide by them when we create our gamertags.

It’s simple with how much we pay for the game and add on forza should patch it. It’s forza fault not the players note a days updates are so fast and easy they just don’t care. Just like everyone who cries about people wreaking people in and ABC room. But they won’t add cat and mouse one of the most played game modes. They have made there money and unless it makes them more like cat packs they show they don’t care.

I Don’t Agree With This There’s No Point Stopping Them As I said As Long as your having fun who cares what the other people are doing If you try to stop them they could report you
