Need more Aussie tracks… Somethin unique, even though we just had Horizon 3 and Bathurst in the previous 2 Motorsport games. Sydney Motorsport Park, Phillip Island or even the Melbourne GP track would be nice.
if pcars 2 has 60 tracks then think how bad the physics will be compared to fm7 although im not sure haven’t seen the pcars 2 trailer bout to watch that right now
project cars has the tracks no doubt but not the control i got the first one but was disappointed by the handling , waiting to see what tracks forza 7 adds, hey i m one who wants ny la chicago , i wish they add them in i can do with out bernes alps even though it looks great my least favorite
Having track wish lists is one thing. But to slate off tracks in the game is a bit childish. If you’re a Motorsport fan and you have a game as good as Forza you’ll race on anything
I would have expected a lot more tracks in Forza 7. If Homestead is not included then I will cancel my preorder. There are way too few oval tracks in this game as it is
If you remove the DLC’s from FM6 then it comes to 30 I think.
I have a strong feeling that the Yas Marina Circuit will likely be cut, considering the fact we are getting one (or more, we don’t know yet) Dubai tracks. This is a shame because I really like the Yas Marina Circuit.
I also have the strong inkling that Long Beach won’t be returning, it’s never had a strong fanbase. Plus it’s too tight and the Drivatars themselves can’t even handle the circuit!
Long Beach is great, and unique for its style. It was more enjoyable in 5 when you could just coast around the tyre walls, but technically it has a high skill cap, which should be desirable. Yas has its place, but it and CotA are so similar in style that I feel they could drop one. Still don’t see that they need to drop any though! Just wish they would start dropping information!
I’d prefer if Yas Marina stayed and COTA went. The first turn, the chicanes and back straight is all that I really like about COTA. The rest of the circuit is poo. I also don’t like the fact that the circuit feels way too artificial. Yas Marina on the other hand feels likes it’s actually been sculpted and designed by a team, not two people working on different continents. The circuit has alot of flow, and doesn’t feel disjointed/unsettled through the corners. The circuit also has a nice feel to it, thanks to the rich location it is situated in.
But I suspect that Yas Marina would be the one to go, since Formula One disbanded it in this year’s calender.
COTA was built on natural terrain. Yas was built on an island that wasnt there in the first place. Next to no elevation changes and next to no character. COTA is one of the best tracks currently out there, have you seen Turn 1?
I disagree, only a small section of COTA is good for racing, the rest is comparable to Bahrain: too fussy, too wide, too slopey, too boring. You spend too much time going left and right and not enough time going forward.
Well it seems to me in FM6 everyone just throws motor at their car and turns on all asists like TCS STM ABS and is in everyones way until the straight. So I am loving cornering tracks. nd you can tune your car to be able to go forward while turning a corner
I’ll be honest here, I have hardly driven COTA, maybe six or seven times, and I think I need to experience it again before I be so judgemental. I am basing my opinion on what I remember of the circuit.
Thats usually what I see. Everyone has speed setups and cornering is an afterthought. I am hardcore about setting up for corners. Being fast in a straight line doesnt mean anything if you cant hang in the corners. My C Class Miata is an absolute beast in the corners but is pokey on the straights but its my winningest car hands down. Its always funny to wave at the overpowered Camaros and Mustangs as i zip past them in the corners.
Would have to disagree with that. Yas is horible. Unless they start slowing cars down for cutting or going wide to keep up speed, it is a useless track. Cota is a really fun track if you ask me. But, I would hope they would keep all the tracks and bring back some older favorites from previous games and bring in some new world tracks too
