Hi. Hade FM7 installed and it ran smooth as butter.
Then something happened. Not sure what, really. Suddenly the game is unresponsive, and its like someone else is driving the car. Sluggish menus etc. Its like another game - over night, sort of!
I could even run the game smoothly in highest race with ultra settings!!! Now its struggling in Full HD.
I have unintalled and reinstalled. Same problem.
Could it be because I now have the driver on my second SSD? Should that make such a difference?
I cant fully uninstall the game right? Just via the uninstaller?
Any suggestions?

So…
I uninstalled the game from my second (non-windows) SSD (Crucial MX500 1TB) and reinstalled it on my system disk SSD (Samsung EVO 860) - and all glitches and bugs ware GONE!
What is going on here? You cant (well, you get the option…) play the game from a secondary SSD? So weird.
AND…I also found that there is 2 versions of the game in the store (not standard, deluxe etc): One that just Sais Forza 7, and one that sais Forza 7 Standard. I might have installed the first one…first, will that make any differecene, or could explain what was going on with the “weird” acting installation?
I also have it installed on a secondary SSD, aside from my OS SSD, and the game runs fine(EVO as well). For me personally, performance is completely different when my video settings are dynamic. I need to set custom FPS and v-sync or It’s unplayable. To boot, video preferences are reset to default with each patch/update.
Just in-case you aren’t doing this already, you can move installations of Windows 10 games to any drive you want and don’t have to keep downloading and installing them each time. I’ve done it successfully before, with FM7 in particular.
I figure other games run fine on the Crucial SSD drive? Unfortunately, this isn’t like other games. Can you think of anything you are doing differently on that drive; raid, partitions, pagefile, compression(lol)?
