I have the Ultimate Edition of FM7. I loaded it up this morning and the game prompted me for permission to use my XBox details to sign into the game. I chose yes and then it appeared to do it’s thing. It went back to the title screen and then nothing. Pressing Enter or A on my controller bring up the Xbox / Windows 10 box and it acts like it is trying to do something. After about 3-5 seconds it goes back to the title screen. The game never loads.
Things I have tried.
Reset Windows Store cache
Reset the app
Sign out of the Xbox app and sign back in from within the game.
I loaded FH3 and that loads just fine. Is anyone else having the same issue? What is the fix?
The only thing I did that I can think that might cause this is I moved the app from within the App settings to my D drive. I did the Pre-Load and it never prompted me to choose which drive I wanted to install the game on. It got all the way through, but I got an error code. I don’t remember what it was, so the only thing I can think of is perhaps there are some files missing that are preventing the game from loading properly to the next screen(s).
I’d rather not re-download 95GB worth of data, but I will if I absolutely have to.
Same problem here. Ultimate edition. Loaded it at midnight and played it fine, got up this morning and it won’t load past the flash screen. did all the cache reset app reset store reset stuff. did all my windows updates. even re-downloaded the whole entire game again today, doesn’t work. haven’t been able to play since launch.
Check if your Xbox-services are enabled.
right click start - “RUN” - type “services.msc” … scroll down the list and all the Xbox-Services should be either on “manual” or “automatic” , it should not be on “disabled”.
If that doesn’t work, you can try a reinstall of all the Xbox-apps through Windows Powershell (powershell is located somewhere in your start menu)
copy and paste this line in powershell to reinstall xbox-stuff.
all i did was goto the store, select fms7 UE preorder from the store, select play, then when the game loads, I let it load. like actually load. 30sec+, alt tab if you want. Went back and loaded up no problem. Now my issue is, game crashes, when i try to load anything without letting it load properly, like skipping menus, cars, yadda yadda. Running on OS and Game on separate SSD’s.
Also tried running the game on DSR, game crashed everytime. So try using Native res.
I got it working on my laptop with no issues. Another thread says the only thing that resolved this same issue was a complete fresh reload of Windows. So I guess that is what I’ll be doing in 2 weeks when the Fall Creators Update comes out.
Hey im not sure if it works for you if you even have it on ofc. i am running with MSI Afterburner to look after cpu and gpu heat and so on. if i have Rivertuner “software req to look up thous cpu and gpu infos ingame” it wont get past the splash screen. after i turned it off it worked just great. if you dont run msi afterburner then there might be some other software that gives the same issue. try disable all not needed software just for testing. cn always turn it back on if it dont work. hope it helps.
