FM6 Technical Issues

First off, I want to say that I am beyond amazed and thrilled with this game so far; getting the Ultimate Edition was one of my best investments because I cannot imagine waiting any longer to play in this incredible world.

But the reason for this post is regarding some technical issues I have found: because I own a B6 Audi A4, I was so thrilled to see that the B6 S4 was making a comeback from FM4. However, on purchasing the car, I found that the Tachometer in first person doesn’t work. As well, I also found that putting an exhaust upgrade on both the S4 and 22B STi didn’t seem to make any difference in the sound of either vehicle.

Has anyone else found issues like this? Gauges not working in first person and exhaust upgrades not affecting the vehicles sound? I hope I’m not the only one who got unlucky with a faulty download or something

Update:
Ultimate Edition Day Two-

So it seems my perception of the exhaust issue was just trying to compare the FM6 effect to the FM4 effect, because when you upgraded the 2004 Audi S4 exhaust in FM4, it made it sound like an evil beast; it was deep, raspy, and perfect.
Now, apart from some awesome back-fire and minor tone changes, there isn’t much that changes which is why I thought something must be wrong. After messing around with some other vehicle exhausts I found that everything seems to be working correctly.

However, the problem of the interior Tachometer not working on the 2004 S4 still persists.

Oh damn, that is weird! I haven’t had any trouble with my paint or tuning sections; everything is running great apart from my Tachometer issue :frowning: I guess we each have our own little problems
Do you think I could bother you to rent the 2004 S4 in Freeplay to see if your game has this same issue mine does?

There is always 4% transmission damage on simulation difficulty. I use Manual w/clutch.

The Shelby GT350R pulls the TX wheel hard too the left when high speed braking, as an example the Chevy Z28, its competitor is straight as an arrow no matter how hard I use the brakes.
A lot of the mods I’ve used have made using the wheel practically unplayable too the point that I stopped using them all together.
a lot of small bugs need fixing.

The hellcat has a transmission whine like it has straight cut gears and there is no supercharger whine from the car at all :frowning:

In the passing showcases all cars with active rear wings (E23, P1,Ford GT,exc) the wing never moves.

Theres loads of more bugs which will be found lol. The Civic Type R '04 centre console from 3rd person view is different to the cockpit one.

Wow, it is interesting to hear all of the issues everyone is having.
Thank you PilotViper112 for doing that; I’m glad my copy isn’t the only one with that problem.
I can’t say that I have noticed any of the other bugs the rest of you have been talking about, but I know what to be on the lookout for now!
I agree M4dd Dogg7, I am sure there are a lot of other little kinks which need to be worked out

Update:

This is one I’ve known for a while but have been focusing on school:
When shifting in the United Autosport Toyota Avensis, the animation doesn’t go to the shift knob; he/she moves their hand to the dashboard and it stays there for a few seconds, then returns to the wheel. Annoying, and it only happens on that model; the other to racing Avensis’ have normal shift animations.
