FM5 - Hardware-Setup (seats, wheels, shifter, pedals,) what is you setup?

PLAYSEAT WRC - THRUSTMASTER TX - GTE WHEEL ADD ON - MOMO PEDALS

Your link isn’t working for me.

Anyhow here’s mine:

Thrustmaster TX with Obutto Ozone cockpit for FM5, triple screen rig with Fanatec PWTS and Clubsport pedals on a Playseat Evolution for FM4.

That is one nice setup! I wish I had the room for a cockpit, but just can’t swing it right now. Maybe one day.

Just a Thrustmaster TX w/ Wheelstand Pro (v1) while sitting on the edge of my bed. I’d take a pic but it’s not very exciting LOL.

I just have a TX and a Fanatec CSL stand with a chair. Nothing too interesting. I’m saving up for the Playseat Challenge as that’s really the only thing I have room for that’s not a stand.

So i also got the TX (what else atm?^^) currently with stock pedals until Bashers adapter will be released, should get my CSP already by monday - then hopefully Thustmaster will soon announce the Shifter to add this one too. Also using the Buttkicker Gamer v2. All mounted to the Playseat Evolution until i move to a bigger appartement where i will build my custom rig out of aluminium-profiles with a Sparco Pro2000 on top and maybe add another Buttkicker. Everything set up in front of my 52" Philips

I’m thinking of getting a ButtKicker 2 for Forza 5 but would like to know how well it works?

Amazing if you set it up right. I even bought 2, for left/right channels. Check my thread in my signature.

Wow man that’s a really sweet setup you have. A real shame Forza 5 doesn’t support trips for you. Can you tell me how you have the ButtKickers hooked up to the Xbox one please.

First of all, you need the Xbox Audio adapter: Here

Out of the Buttkicker Amp, you attach the RCA in to the xbox adapter. If you want to filter out the highs, try an inline audio filter… but look arround for a frequency that works best for you.

---------OR--------

If you have an amp, you can just piggy back off of your sub out. This will only give you mono. If you want two Buttkickers, use the above method, and hook up one to the left channel and one to the right channel.

Hope this helps

Here’s my setup:

Obutto Ozone | Thrustmaster TX w/GTE rim and T500 Pedals | Spherex 5.1 Audio | 26" IPS Monitor | Butkicker Pro

With optional seat warmer

What is it with cats and those Obutto seats? Mine uses it as a scratching posts.

How about changing the title to Forza Set-ups, instead of just FM5?

I am not on FM5 as of yet, so I am still using a Fanatec CSR.

I too am not on FM5 for the moment but here is my rig.
A work in progress for the last three years.

That’s an awesome looking rig! Some of the best things are built from scratch.

Playseat SV and Fanatec CSR standard pedals atm… Got CS V2 pedals waiting for compatible Fanatec wheel…

Hi,

The Xbox Audio adapter is for the Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not output analogue audio directly which is required for the Gamer2 amplifier input.

Has anybody tested Forza 5 with the ButtKicker Gamer 2? Is the ButtKicker Sim Kit Plus any better?

Thanks.

Good to know… Hence why I suggested using an amp with #.1 audio… and hook up to the sub out. But again, you will only have mono. And hopefully someone will come out with some sort od adapter for the One…

The Sim kit will have the same amp as the Gamer2, so if you want an LFE… you are better buying your amp and shaker separate. The amp provided with the sim kit is not powerful enough.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. Have you successfully connected your buttkicker gamer 2 to the Xbox 1 and Forza 5?
