FM5 Faulty Install? Can't run Catalunya

I bought the Forza 5 LCE a while back, and while everything with the installation seemed to go off without a hitch… it turns out there was one problem: I couldn’t play Catalunya or any of its variants! Every time I try to run the track, at some point during loading the music will start to skip, then the game would boot me back to the Xbox home screen.

Now I would normally have not created this thread, as I know how to uninstall/re-install the game, but because my ISP has a strict limit on data usage, I can’t afford to install anything that’s off of xbox live (like the bonus content) for the time being. So my questions are:

If I were to uninstall the game through normal means (going to my games & apps, press ‘start’ on FM5 and hitting ‘uninstall’), would I be losing that online FM5 content as well as any paints/tunes I’ve downloaded?

If so, is there any way the install could be “repaired” instead of re-installed outright?

My fear is that there might’ve been some damage done to the disc during shipment and that I might be forced to re-install the entire game off xbox live either way.

Anyway, would greatly appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks!

I think as long as u only uninstall the game you’ll still have any DLC or ‘Gifts’ but Im not sure about any of your paints. I do know this though I had to re install the 6gb when we had the last update as for some reason when I applied the update my game uninstalled. After installation I still had all my cars, paints, Credits etc. However these were all my own work not downloaded so I don’t know if that makes a difference or not. I’m sure someone more clued up will be able to inform you further.

Looks like I will need to hop on over to a friend’s house (who has an unlimited plan) to install the game + update content next week. Hoping if it’s the disc that’s screwed up, xbox live will recognize that I own FM5 and I’ll be able to re-install it digitally. Thanks, Initia1 B!
