FM4 ending.

Well, after getting back on FM4 I realized the DLC had reached its EOL(which I don’t fully understand, but I’ll go with it). So after doing some research on here it finally hit me that this game is 4 years old. So I thought I would write an thank you.

•Thank you T10 for coming out with a game that sparked my interest in cars, that made me dream, that made me happy. I can’t tell you all enough how much FM4 has changed my life. It was such a great game. So thank you for kicking butt.
•Thank you MS for all you did for this game. I’m thankful that you helped with this game.
•Thank you Mods for your wit and helpfulness. I loved reading your responses to people asking to be unbanned. One shouldn’t forget your helpfulness with the forums and what not. So thank you for everything you do to maintain a friendly forum.
•Thank you players of FM4. I enjoyed playing with you all so much. Some of you I have even taken to current gen.
Well that’s it.

I’m pleased that I purchased the LCE only a few weeks after it released, purchased most the DLC, and raced my heart out. Time to get in the Shelby GT500 unicorn, take a lap around Indy, put the game in its casing and put it away.

Again, thank you everybody.

P.S. Mods: if you feel the need to, you can lock this. I would like some replies to this, but ultimately it’s up to you.

Hello, nice post man.

To many of us, Forza 4 is not the past yet. We put it away too but only until the next day. There’s still people racing, tuning, painting. Of course, the DLC EOL was hard to digest, especially the way it happened, but the game is alive. So, I hope Turn 10 keep this gem running cause a lot of use are still experiencing the same feelings you had with it.

Take care and Happy New Year…

Forza 3 still has online and thats alot older compared to Forza 4 and Forza 4 is the last one on old gen it means alot to most of us Forza 4 always brings a smile to peoples faces even the next gen guys still love Forza 4 they still think its better than all the others including the next gen Forzas most even come back to it.

funny thing… this thread reminded me of a post I submitted a while back when Horizon released stating “I hope we all don’t look back and realize Forza 4 WAS the best sim racing game of all time…” My post was removed from Forza forum a day later! Lol…

But now , after F5,H2 and now F6… I still feel the same as I did back then, Forza 4 thus far was the best of the best!

My feelings almost exactly! Forza 4 was, in my current opinion, the best. Forza 5 felt rushed (not blaming anyone over at T10 or MS), FH2 felt repetitive, I did like Horizon alot though. And the F&F were spectacular. Forza 6 is up to par, just give it a few more content updates though. But Forza 4 had the right amount of cars, tracks, and other amenities. I wish the event list style would come back, as well as the auction house.

Forza 4 is the best , IMHO , sure the graphics might be better on the Xbone but its not as if the graphics suck on F4 ! ! ! . Its the range of cars availale that does it for me . From F4 onwards it seems the R class cars are slowly but surely disapearing one by one . Thats why i stopped buying any more of the franchise . Until my 360 goes belly up , i shall only be found racing on Forza 4 : )

There is a lot of people still playing Forza 4, I still play it, I still upload tunes, paint jobs and vinyl groups, it is going to take a long time before this game dies, and personally I don’t want that to happen.

I just bought fm4 and says unreadable any help and when I play fh2 fh2 disc reads and I’m on xb360

I still play it too. The thing with the DLCs must be an error or not? I could not believe that they stop trading the DLCs - what reason could be for that?

We don’t know and T10 aren’t saying, and speculation is pointless but most likely a licensing issue.

Very unfortunate, because I have better memories of turn10 and the forza series from past. It looks as though everything is different with the new console and not in the right direction.

I went a couple of months without my FM4 + CSR setup (had to give the TV back)…

I got another TV and now have my setup back in order… it is so much fun. I’m bummed because I do want new cars and tracks, but not enough to where I want to spend $800-900 for a new system and wheel. Fanatec and Microsoft really screwed us over with the compatibility thing.

I do not understood - so your old setup (forza 4 + CSR) do not work with your new TV?

He probably was sharing the 1st TV with the rest of the family and now has a 2nd TV for the 360.

Yea… we had 1 TV in our old apartment and I had the CSR rig connected to it. We moved into a house and my wife did not want it in the new living room, so we got another TV and I got a game room

Ok, but where is the problem now we are talking about?

If the rumor is true that Forza comes out for the PC, the whole Xbox brand is dead. What they’re doing currently is unbelievable - but after all, the x86 architecture is finally to use for something

I Have the 2013 Viper Before They Discontinued, At Least I Have Forza 6

the thing is that the dlc is still ther but you need to find a unused code for it so its still possible to get it
