Is every post launch track going to be a “returning track”? It is really starting to feel like Turn 10 is just trying to hit quotas instead of anything new. Not a single brand new track post launch, with Daytona in particular feeling like a total waste of time.
Also, “We’ve also added Mobil 1 track signage at Maple Valley”
Choo Choo all aboard the fun train.
I love this game, but Turn 10 is making me lose confidence in its future. All the garbage happening at Xbox lately isn’t helping. My confidence in the entirety of the Xbox brand is at rock bottom right now.
So we download the new update today, but we can start playing the new content on thursday. Yeah i won’t get into the game until the new series is active.
As long as the game keeps getting supported for the long term, then that’s fine I suppose. I don’t want this game to be abandoned, hence my “meet quotas” worry, alongside the chaos going on at Xbox right now. Despite my criticisms, I love this game a lot more than most people, it would seem. I hope my passion isn’t for naught.
As a side note, I wonder if new car packs will be a thing at some point.
That’s why they dropped the number. It’s going to be a platform. I don’t know, but i think we can expect next gen updates after each new console generation.
It could be as well a D-class car, it’s prepared for racing, i.e. very light and nimble (judging by how it drives in Automobilista 2 / Project CARS 2).
I support this entirely. No new sequels to constantly split everything is a good thing in gaming, probably the only good thing that Fortnite influenced in the industry (and cross play).
Check the thread “poll, would you pay for DLC” it’s an overwhelming no, as someone said, I don’t even feel like I’ve gotten my $100 or $70 worth out of this game why would I put more money into it right now.
I guess this update shows the devs are listening and are working on making the game better. Super happy with this update and can’t wait to try out the various changes. The Mid-Ohio fixes (no more T1 cutting!) and the AI updates are so incredibly welcomed.
I thought I read something about getting new modes and a radar? Maybe that was hogwash or maybe it was on the roadmap for later this year in a future update. Not sure.
Also, It’s painfully obvious that some of you are never-ever going to be happy, no matter what they do. It’s a weird codependent masochist thing ya’ll got going on.
Update 8 finally fixed the weirdly high exposure problem I had on some tracks, including Nurburgring Sprint, morning, overcast. They closed the report weeks ago so glad they still sorted it!
