Fix Road Atlanta

I know its petty, but I want to be able to drift the Formula Drift course on road atlanta. but they ruined it by making it a 20mph road crap… please update it so its normal like it use to be…

anyone agree?

How do you mean “fix it” i know that during circuit races on FM4 that road used to slow cars right down. If they made it non-sticky, people would just cut out the corners all together in races.

i don’t drift (not intentionally) so forgive my ignorance

He means the little loop section by the bridge before the last corner - no way that can be utilised to gain an advantage in circuit races. No idea why they made that bit sticky, but it has been a common complaint from the day of release.

It’s because people cut the turn because they are too immature to play the game properly.

I would flip out if this road was not sticky so you can drift a 50 foot section of side road meanwhile ruining the track for racing.

No thanks

I encourage you to think before you post.

I encourage you to learn the tracks before you post. We are talking about the loop section at the right of the bridge before the last turn, not the side road at the left after the first turn. There is no way to cut the bit we are talking about, unless you want to crash into a solid concrete bridge…

Bingo. However, the grass before that section has always been sticky if memory serves me right so it really wouldn’t matter if someone tried to cut.

Always thought the loop was neat. Sucks someone took the fast route and stickied the entire section.

Nice burn btw.

Ahh ok. I know where you mean.

i though the bit of track was just after the 1st chicane on the brow of the hill

Nah, FD uses the back straight, about half way along where it bends slightly (turn 9 I think it is), run down the hill, left, right and into the loop. That bit at the top of the hill, by turns 3/4 - I’m not sure if that ever gets used in an official event now. I think it may just be legacy but they kept it there as a run off if you miss the turn into 3.

i agree 100% I’m actually on these forums for the exact reason. forza 3 and 4 it was the same, just not as bad. with forza 5 its just a shame.

They Really need to fix this and ADD Tsukuba course as I spent 80% of my time in forza 4 on these two tracks drifting now I cant do either

I was wondering what the “loop” in question was so I had to search for it. I don’t EVER remember seeing it in FM! I’ll have to look for it next time on track . . .
