Dear Playground Games Developers
This is a major concern so I made an attempt to be as specific as possible
I cannot stand players who have more than roughly 50m credits or just more than the game intended (usually obtained by abusing the auction house) it disrupts the economy in an extremely bad way, I believe the festival playlist is responsible for the severe imbalance in credits split amongst the playerbase, the festival playlist is the only way to fairly unlock new additions to the game if a player misses the playlsit they are left with 2 options:
- They snipe one on the auction house, This method may not work as most festival playlist cars cost upwards of 10 million credits on the auction house sometimes and some players may not have more than 1 million credits also theres absolutely 0 certainty that a car will definetly be found on the auction house.
- The backstage, this method is not even guaranteed to work yet the only way one can take advantage of it is by waiting the entire games life cycle and once its inevitably introduced they must hope its voted in as a backstage car.
This means a player may never get a car they wanted in the entire games lifespan
I understand the credits CONTENT CREATORS have helps them make content without having to worry about saving in-game credits but there are other people in the game who have 0 business having more than maybe 1 million credits yet they have more than 100 million because they got several festival playlist cars and sold them for max value and all of them sold.
The best and really only way to fix this is scrapping an end of life backstage system and bringing cars to the autoshow shortly after the series ends. If the playlist can’t be removed or atleast revamped to not enforce playtime then atleast bring the cars or I’d assume other potential cosmetics now that we have houses to the autoshow or wherever we’d be able to purchase garage decoration so that players who were unaware or unable to unlock these cars can get them.
This is a great fix because the players who unlock the car during the series get the car for free whereas the players who missed the series can purchase it through the autoshow. This would in theory fix the auction house economy crisis because cars would not be unobtainium and would in theory create an overall balanced economy amongst the general playerbase and would likely push players to play more often and allow them to enjoy every session without making the game a grind and a capitalism simulator.
