First Level Crash Bug, can't get past opening level. XBox One

Anyone experienced first level problems? Got game new 2 days ago with new Xbox one have not been able to get past the first driving section after coming off the ferry. Done all relevant updates power cycled etc

At 5.6km left to go each time the game crashes, audio crashes, locks up and drops back to Xbox home screen. No matter what speed I’m driving at that point.

Very poor experience tried multiple times. Game is completely unplayable, have to watch intro video each time I try without being able to skip. It’s driving me insane with frustration!

Any ideas?

An update. 3rd reinstall sorted it out

What did you do differently the third time?

Did you let the game install to 100%? That’s what I did, even though you can play before its fully done its better to wait till its all completed

Nothing different 3rd time. Just seemed lucky. 2nd time let it go to 100% but still had probs. 3rd time was actually able to play during install. Seems random
