FH6 Festival Playlist events and rewards May 28 - June 4 (Series 01 Week 2)

Improved my time to 41.2, so it’s on the board if you want to compare.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ve just managed to complete it on my first go for today!

My own tune’s limit is 1.42 so I already drove it to it’s limit.

I did however try Grandma’s tune, it’s amazing. Only a few tries to get break 40 chasing your ghost. I was ahead of your ghost until the snow part and that’s where I’m slow.

Nice work! The course probably has enough tricky sections to justify the extra handling over power. Might be worth trying your tune on somewhere like Sunflower Charge (street course but it’s pretty much flat out power). I will try your one here later as well though - haven’t tried Grandma’s either yet. Mine is a lot closer to Grandma’s and I suspect his will be faster than mine - if not I’ll share mine.

I didn’t pay enough attention to notice. I’d assume not, since I was still at 45/45 points for the season so the game already knew it had awarded me something for completing them.

Schuppan is fixed it seems. There’s many in the auction house if anyone is looking for a second copy.

I’ve jumped on the Tateyana train too :stuck_out_tongue:

And you are probably right that this track favours handling. Both of fastest times were set with max width tires and full aero (maxed values, probably could’ve lowered it). Or I’m just terrible with not enough handling.

Tunes I’ve tried:

  1. Full slicks / widest tires / only rear aero = low 1:39 (not enough front grip, but pretty quick)
  2. Full slicks / widest tires / full aero = high 1:35
  3. heavier version (+200kg / +130hp) = mid 1:37 (just couldn’t carry speed through corners, and wasn’t that much faster on straights)
  4. Semi slicks / widest tires / full aero = high 1:35
  5. Full slicks / narrow front tires / full aero = low 1:36 (closest in spec to Grandma’s)
  6. Grandma’s = low 1:36 (not enough front grip/turn in for me, but maybe would need to drive it a bit more)
and since I couldn’t find any tune from known to me tuner and all fast guys post powerbuild, picked some random handling tune
  7. amodiGT = high 1:37 (it looked like they haven’t used centri charger, it was lacking power a lot)

2 and 4 were very close. One is just a bit better in corners, and other a bit faster on straights.

PS. Anyone else having issues with car colors glitching? Like stock Gamera should be blue, right? Mine is like light purple. And there was like few other cars that done that too.

Thanks fot letting us know! Now, what about the Ford Lightning?

What track did you use for the Big Japan daily challenge (description: win an autocross race in any car in the Heroic Crossovers category)?

I tried two different races twice, but they were autocross sprints, so the challenge doesn’t count. I used a 2018 Jeep Trackhawk.

I think so. Nothing was in the auction house but I had shared some liveries before it was bugged. I couldn’t see the stats before but I can now. It was the publicized one so people may be avoiding even touching it.

I just sniped two Ford Lightnings from the Auction House, so this one seems to have been fixed, too.

@T10ManteoMax The Pre Loved Daily is still bugged for me, the only thing needed for the full 45. Bought many cars over multiple days. Bought ones that are stock, ones pre tuned, driven them straight away and also stored in garage. Nothing seems to make it want to work.

Any chance that things like this can be fixed and points auto added? I know in FH4/5 when things like this happened they would get auto completed in a patch.

We’re looking into Festival Playlist events not unlocking. I don’t have specifics yet but will provide an update when we have more.

A post was merged into an existing topic: Big in Japan Daily Challenge Bugged

Thanks

Very nice. I was skill-issued last night (couldn’t get the left-right-left before the snow walls right at all and, if I did, I then drove up the side of the ice wall on the last right turn). Did run a 35.9 using Grandma’s tune. Best dirty was a 35.7.

Are you and Zip using wheel? Too fast for me, I’m just going to be happy where I am

Same. That small bump on that right corner stopped many of my runs. Not to mention how many hitboxes I’ve found in snow walls
And with Grandma’s I was losing time in that 2nd left corner. Just couldn’t nailed it.

Still on keyboard. What tune do you use?

Just got 1:39:704 so I am very happy now. I used Gradmas tune but I think my controllers setting may need tweeking. Got to take those bends a lot more smoother without losing speed and, like you and Jezza, those bends are a bit to master but ill get there :+1:

I’ve just made a grip tune and challenged your time. To my surprise, it took me 3 tries to break into 1:39 too, but I don’t know if the tune is decent because of my terrible auto driving.

The tune seemed fast to me, but maybe you can help me test it against grandma’s tune and see if it’s any good.
