Not sarcastic. Perhaps it was hyperbolic to say it’s an icon, but I’ll leave it to others to decide.
I love the look of the past two generations, but as it’s a car associated with Japan outside of Japan, if it’s ever going to make it in, it surely has to be now.
Pleaae please please, i beg for more hondas. The jdm integra type r. I am a honda nut but dont want to be driving the acura intrgra type r anymore please devs strictly honda, eapecialy the square head lights over the bug eye. Also models like ef9 civic, eg9 civic, da9 integra. All the top vtec models not just type r’s. Cb accords. This is japan so if its just the same list of the cars weve had for 5 horizons it will be very dissapointing. Kei cars ia awesome but more jdm have to be available.
Heh yes, if you’re on a twisty mountain road you could master the fine art of two-wheeling…or three-wheeling in this case!
(Yet another reason to add a “Yakety Sax” horn )
I think it goes without saying that a majority of Horizon 5’s car list should stay. The only cars that need not be carried over are mostly cars that are redundant. For instance, we have four versions of the Mercedes-AMG GT, the GT-S, the GT-R, and the GT-R Black Series, and the GT-R GT3. We really only need one, and that’s the Black Series. There’s a couple of cars with several duplicates that could need the same treatment.
There’s also a few models that need replacing because the developers have added the suboptimal model. The E30 M3 in-game should be replaced by the superior M3 Sport Evolution, the A70 Supra in-game should replaced by the Twin Turbo version, and so on and so forth.
Horizon 5 desecrated the bed on representing Mexican car culture, but hopefully with Japan having a vaster one, the developers shouldn’t be in too much of a pickle to find cars to add. Some JDM legends we don’t have yet still and more Kei cars are a must. Some more obscure cars like the Toyota Crown Comfort TRD GT-Z wouldn’t go a miss either. Some non-Japanese cars that the Japanese are highly fond of should be included as well, such as the original Lotus Europa.
Now, everyone on the car wish list section of the forums probably knows me for my occasional barrage of obscure concept cars. So, naturally, I wouldn’t be opposed to the developers getting over their aversion of concept cars and adding some older ones down the line. A good chunk of them still exist, many are fully functional, and even with the ones that are just rolling chassis, some creativity and/or consultation with the manufacturers on how to bring some of these cars to life wouldn’t be a bad thing either.
Forza Horizon 6 should have most, if not all, Japanese cars from past Forza games (from Forza Motorsport 2023, Forza Horizon 5 even all the way back to the 2005 original, Forza Motorsport 1).
I think i will adding the cars like Maserati MC20, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, Ferrari Daytona SP3, Honda Civic Type R FL5, Toyota GR Corolla and McMurtry Speirling.
The generation of Lexus IS300(mk1) you mentioned was not officially introduced in Japan. It’s a North American car with LHD, not a JDM. Lexus has only been officially sold in Japan since 2005, and in the case of the IS, it was the next model (mk2) and after.
I have no intention of talking any further with people who don’t know the difference between an IS300 and an Altezza.

One Japanese car that always been ignored in Forza is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4 ( IV )
We have the Evo 3, 6, 8, 9 and 10, but we haven`t had the Evo 4 in any game, and it would be great to see it appear in the next game.
