FH5 Crash reports after October 2024

The 566.36 states the crashing issue is fixed, so I gave it a try and updated from 561.09. The game crashed after around an hour but I’ve ran it again just to make sure. The game then crashed after 30 minutes so I rolled back to 561.09 once again, no crashes since.

I have the same problem and also did create a thread about it. But for me it crashes after like 2 1/2 hours. R9 5950x, RTX 3080, 32 GB RAM.

Nah, I’ll just quit playing Forza. Why waste my time? You have had months to fix this widespread issue.

it have an effect, what now? support just keeps trying to make me do same things over and over again

Yep, 566.36 still crashing for me too.

Still crashing on 572.16

try 561.09

561.09 works, but I need the new drivers for other games. The new Nvidia driver and new FH5 update haven’t fixed the issue.

for +2% performance ?

Still crashing on w11 24h2 + 572.47.

FH5 crashes as soon as I travel to a rally or Hot Wheels event.
It is also strange that the event symbols in Ralley and Hot Wheels are from Mexico events. In the Ralley racing event, for example, the street scene racing event.

The problem first occurred with Series 39.

Same problem here, but with the following observations:

Alone: No crashes
Alone with Discord open and voice chat connected: Very rare crashes
Column without Discord: Very very rare crashes
Column connected with Discord voice chat: Medium frequent crashes
Column with Discord screen transmission: Guaranteed crash but random period (30m-1h)

AMD Ryzen 5700x
Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB
Driver - 572.60
64GB RAM

Also at LOW graphics settings error message “Graphics memory almost full” while at “Extreme” no problems occur?

Still crashing on 572.70

All of the sudden the game crashes at the small splash.

Tried everything I could think of. Nothing helped.

  • Reinstalled NV drivers (all other games, including FH5 work).
  • Reinstalled FMS completely.
  • Deleted files in the appdata directory.
  • Deleted some references in the registry. (the ones that make sense).

EDIT: Ended fully uninstalling then reinstalling it. That fixed it.

Fully reinstalling didn’t fix the game crashing when attempting a rewind.
