Let me start off with THIS IS NOT A WISHLIST, COMPLAINET, OR NOTE TO DEVELOPERS. All this is is just me sharing my opinion.
I’m going to do this is a pros and cons setup (again my opinion). Please feel free to share any comments about what I post.
FH4 DRAG RACING
Pros:
Drag Slicks: make drag racing so much more competitive, with making cars even faster and better.
Drag Trees: adds a whole new feel to Forza Drag Racing, and unlike FH3, you won’t have to worry about just the honk or reverse light.
New Cars: adds a lot of new competition to the races.
Cons:
Drag Slicks: Makes it so people like me who build crazy drag cars, such as a Ford Raptor, are unable to even remotely keep up with cars that have slicks.
Asphalt: In FH3, almost all of the 1/4 mile drag racers raced at the trains tracks bridge. I never went into a single drag lobby without people racing there. FH4 doesn’t have this one spot where everyone meets up at and races.
Weather: I’m sure if you drag raced in FH3, you know of the auction house trick where you can go in and it will stop raining. In FH4, for a whole solid week in Winter, I can’t even race properly because the roads are covered in rain, snow, and ice!
FH3 DRAG RACING
Pros
Builds: a lot of the drag builds were set up the exact same, so they could be adapted to any car. This means whoever won the race was the better tuner.
Train Tracks: Probably IMO the best place in FH3, the train tracks were the central hub for all 1/4 drag racers. Before FH4 came out, I remember looking for lobbies to join, and there would be at least 20-30 lobbies, all almost full. When I would create a post for 12 people, it would be full in about 10 minutes. And everyone would go to the train tracks.
Cons
Nitrous Glitch: I don’t know if this ever got patched, but there was a way you could add “nitrous” to your car by doing an Autoshow glitch. This was always annoying in online lobbies.
7 year olds: I know this is a problem in FH4, but it seemed in FH3 in all of my lobbies we always had that one kid who went over 1,000hp, was AWD, or had a V12. This just made the experience a whole lot less fun.
Here is my opinion on this. Please leave your thoughts below. Thanks!
