Phew! here is hoping that Gameplay shows us some of the New events they showed to the Press, such as the Horizon Stories Mode and the “Halo” Showcase Event.

Looks to be the same gameplay we saw of the floor demo at E3.
5 bucks the behind closed door stuff will go the same way with E3, with IGN, or whoever, releasing footage in a series of clips they had the privilege of seeing and recording only after the game show is over.

Good to see we’re not the only ones seeing the problem.
No no, not Cortana: remember all the human voices in the E3 demo, the bikers, the announcer… in the Gamescom one they are all replaced by text-to-speech automated reading software, which is quite the change. I had to double check to see if it was just an IGN thing or my ears were malfunctioning, so I saw another video with the Viper by Gamespot, and this change is still there. A change I must say I find… hilarious? For comparison’s sake here’s IGN’s demo back at E3 with people made of flesh and bones in charge of shouting: “Woohoo!” and the like.
You know, Manteo, this isn’t exactly the kind of stuff I have been expecting whenever I clicked on this topic. Were you? I though I’d been accustomed to Forza’s marketing involving incomprehensible machinations, but this stuff isn’t making it easier. Seriously, what is going on?

He confirmed the Halo mission in the game and said he hoped there would be footage of it for everyone in the near future.
Their 8-minute demo video is 1080p60. It sounds like a new GPS voice, maybe Cortana full time?
Cortana being the voice makes a lot of sense with all the Halo stuff in here. Kinda sounds like her. Sounds a little more robotic though.
All this secrecy. PG may as well be run by MI6, the way this is going.
… you guys do understand that Gamescom is in Germany and the text you’re seeing in these clips of FH4 is in German? It stands to reason that the voices are either placeholder for the German voiceover work, or they’re placeholder for the option for English voiceovers in the build that’s at Gamescom. It’s obviously not the intended final result.
Why have a placeholder when the English voice acting is already recorded, live and kicking? And the game is set in Britain of all places? Fire Chtulhu lol.

Because they haven’t recorded the German speech yet or at least it wasn’t prepared for the Gamescom demo?
It’s clearly not going to be in the final product so I’m not sure why it’s become such a huge deal to you.

So… any chance that this could be a hint that they may have a spotify music channel in game and just are not telling us yet/working out the last few bugs? I preferred groove in game over spotify in the background as you can have better control over it, plus can change your play lists a lot easier.
