Yes I know the game has not come out yet. However I have the ultimate edition pre ordered. Yet the game thumbnail under my games and apps is blank. If I delete to reinstall. It won’t pop up in ready to install. I have to search through the store to install. All xbox services are up I’ve hard reset my console. I’m gettin nervous because I’m super stoked for this game. I pre ordered months ago. And usually when i try to play a pre ordered game before launch. That has been pre loaded. It should say your too early. Mine says do you own this game or app. I’m the owner I’m signed in to live. Done everything to fix this. I’m on the third time reinstalling. It still comes up blank, and the words pre order that should be on game thumbnail are missing.
ive had similar things happen, apparently i no longer own several titles in my collection, forza 6 is one of them. it has a price next to it in store. i would suggest deleting your profile from the console and redownloading it from live. then make sure the console is set as your home console, then delete all fh3 data, and reinstall it. mine has downloaded the full 45 odd gig file so its gone gold and is ready to be unlocked to play
If the above tips don’t fix it, try and get in contact with microsoft support. This seems to be XBL related, rather than FH3/ PG / T10, so that might give you a quicker and better fix.

Well, I’m experiencing a similar issue, if it can be called that. The thumbnail on my preloaded digital copy is now blank. It says the game is installed (full 47.3 gigs) on my X1 and when I go to the Store, it indicates the game as “owned”.
The H3 thumbnail was visible up until yesterday, but today when I powered up my console it’s just a grey box in my Games and Apps with Forza Horizon 3 labelled at the bottom.
Everything indicates that I own the preloaded Horizon 3 copy, but I wonder why the thumbnail has disappeared altogether. I did delete the H3 demo recently, but that should have no bearing on this. I’ve already done a full hard reset. I know this is a non-issue, but I wonder why the game thumbnail has completely disappeared, while all other games can be seen.
Similar problem here! Pre-loaded the 3.8MB pre-load placeholder for the Windows 10 version a few days back, but when I click “Play” on the game in the Windows Store it just comes up with an error (pic below). Everything still indicates that I own the game and that I have it pre-loaded, though. Just yesterday when I clicked “Play” on the game it just came up with a window saying that I’m too early and that the game hasn’t been released yet. Hopefully all of these issues will be fixed soon!
I’m thinking this problem might be due to some YouTubers and some press people getting it before the release.
I think the devs might have done this on purpose just to prevent people from unnecessarily launching the game as they will only get that “heart-breaking” message and nothing else… ! rolls eyes
Maybe we should put our worries aside and just wait till launch date. If the game’s fully pre-loaded and it says on The Store that you own it, then I think we should be all set. However, ever since I’ve owned The One, this is literally the only game where the thumbnail just went missing by itself!
How many of you got message payment faild but it says you can play and how did you solve it

pre-ordered Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition on Xbox One,
and while there is the normal image icons next Forza Horizon 3
games and Car Pass add on, next to All-Stars Pack and VIP its just a black box,
no image icon says they pre-ordered and installed so this is just a glitch or something not installed correctly,
I have tried to uninstall and install them again but it still shows the same,
now say that I do not own this game, though I do it and everything, according to xbox live support
so everything is okay with my license and everything, everything that happened after the update yesterday,
something good has broken and the game says I have to buy it back €100
Don’t worry everyone, this is normal for preloads on Xbone. It’s a UI bug which affects listings for games not yet released. By the time it releases on Friday all will be well.
I have the same problem although I’m relieved to see that this problem is not limited to me but seems to be a broader issue.
Up until yesterday everything seemed fine with the preload of the Ultimate Edition—I had already downloaded the ~47GB and when I tried to launch it I got the known error message “You’re a little to early.”
Yesterday evening the Pin was just showing a generic icon and when I tried to launch the game it gave me an error message that said that I needed to own the game or put in the disc. The icons from Horizon 3 and the Motorsport All Stars Pack were just black but still said pre-ordered. I thought that a simple reinstall would fix the issue but upon removing the game from my hard disk the game did not show up in my “Ready to Install”-list. I had to go into the store to re-download the game. There it said that I own the Ultimate edition. I’m currently redownloading the game but it seems to still have a black icon.
I hope this is just a temporary bug and I can play on Friday.
