Festival Playlist events not providing points | Hotfix Mar. 6

@PD_Top_Gun Not true at all! In the summer season I have completed enough event to reach at least 40 pts (If I remember right I was on 41pts), and after the fix all I got is 21pts and a fake compensation of a useless Lambo STO!
Does this seems fixed to you?! While others had all fixed the right way…
Please STOP being misleading!

Read. What. We. Are. Posting. There was a hotfix rolled out last week. It caused crashes for many people on the MS Store and Xbox versions of the game. The hotfix was then reversed. The developers know the problem still exists, and they are working to roll out a new hotfix to solve the problem. This has been stated by ManteoMax, the community manager, in this very thread. All of this is true.

In addition everyone in the game should have received a gift Lamborghini and Backstage Pass, as they were the rewards that were supposed to be handed out in the summer season. When the hotfix is rolled out again, everyone who completed enough events will be able to get another copy of those rewards.

Yes. I’ve read the thread from top to bottom whilst others apparently have not and keep posting the same things on multiple posts.
Everything IS known and all documented above so no need to keep filling the thread with the same old stuff.

The devs released a hotfix that gave back all points that players had completed for summer (apart from the TH points but said it was still being worked on).
Sadly the hotfix started crashing some peoples games - though not everybody’s - so they had to pull it and revert back to the original series version till they could figure it out. Any points that were given back when the hotfix installed stayed after they removed it. Maybe you didn’t get the hotfix in time to get your points given as it was only up for a short period of time.

All I was saying is that as long as you continue to play as normal and complete the events, they will eventually come up with another hotfix that works and all completed points will be retroactively be given back - as stated by Max in a number of posts above.
I did not say it was solved but that it will be. Nothing I said was “Not True” so calm down.
Just keep playing, complete all the events and they will give back the points as they have for most of the Summer season for me - along with a free STO and Backstage Pass that I diidn’t really want or need anyway.

Question is, I suppose - being well into Tuesday with still no HotFix Fix, are they going to wait again till Wed, (1 day before the next season) to use us again as BetaTesters for another HotFix?
Or maybe they’ll just walk away from S44 altogether and just continue awarding points cars/passes sometime in the future.
Their SILENCE is deafening! And just poor corporate communication. Getting pretty sick of it actually.

I’m having the same issues. Forza should’ve tested the playlist before it went live! Saying that, do they even have testers? If they did, this probably wouldn’t have happened. The response is pathetic from them as well.

writing things like “Don’t worry everything is going to be sorted out, fixed and everyone will walk hand by hand singing kumbaya” is actually misleading as the last fix showed.
Telling people cit. “Everything’s been covered so no need to keep posting stuff we already know.” in a support forum should not be written, if others have issues they have the right to ask for support in… a support forum.
Seems like the devs got short on ideas and started walking the slacking side of the videogaming world, so we get some reheated food with some new sauce and if this means bugs, errors and whatsoever other issues, should we be quiet and wait till they fix things up? So they can work relaxed and release a fix a couple of month after FH6 release? If this is the scenario ok… I should be allowed to pay for the game with Monopoly money :person_shrugging:
Is this Microsoft or what? Someone wrote cit. “Their SILENCE is deafening!” while another user wrote cit. “The response is pathetic…” they’re both right.

Hi guys! I just downloaded a game update and now the points issue seems to be fixed.

EDIT: my current version of the game is 3.681.890.0 (and i’m on xsx)

Hello guys!
I also just downloaded an update of 3.53GB (Windows 11, Microsoft store version) and the issues have been fixed. The game awarded all pending awards for both the Summer and Autumn seasons.

Can also confirm this latest hotfix put things right in both seasons + they threw in 2 cars into the Backstage. I just hope they also fixed the PC/Win 11 PAID version crashing to the desktop.
Still this took too long, with very poor communication in the game messages and on the forums, and it’s obvious the so called leadership team decided this was just not important enough to have enough resources attending to fix it. Remember that PG mangers when you come asking for more $$.
Quit using your paying customers as your beta-testing/QA team! You’re hurting the game and the brand.

To the good folks who did make the fix - thank you! I hope management gives you their ill-deserved quarterly bonuses!

Oh, look at that - second hotfix has been released and installed - Ver. 3.681.890.0 - All points (incl TH) for Summer have been given as well as all points for Autumn ! So now I have a full 70/70 for Summer (all Golded ) and 69/70 for Autumn with just the daily to do.
As stated in my previous posts, just keep playing as normal and all will be fine…
Maybe you should have waited a few hours before posting the above quote (or cit. as you prefer)

Since this topic has been closed, I just wanted to place a quick note for any XBoX users. In case you were concerned about this newest update as I was. I was hesitant to adopt this hotfix right away after the last 2 weeks rollouts. I saw PC users on here claim that things were fixed for them.
After installing the 1.1 GB update on Xbox 1, I can affirm that this patch has indeed retroactively given me all of the points for the races I completed for the last 2 weeks with no problem.

We are now on the 3rd week of fh5 seasonal objectives not working… am i missing something or does microsoft just not care anymore? The seasonal rewards are the only thing keeping this game relevant yet they have been broken for 2 full weeks and are still broken on the 3rd week. Even if this is an issue with windows 11, microsoft owns fh5 and windows, how is this not fixed yet? My disappointment is immeasurable.

Not to mention I have received none of the points or rewards that were claimed to be given retroactively despite me completing most of the “broken” objectives.

Can’t really say on this. It might depend on your platform or whether you’ve installed the latest hotfix.
All I can say is that on Series X console with the latest hotfix installed, all points have been reinstated for Summer and Autumn.
Not had the chance to do much on the playlist for Winter yet but the Winter photo autocompleted as soon as I loaded the game after getting yesterdays hotfix.

Photo challenge in Winter season automatically completed for me. Doesn’t look like everything was fixed.
#FASTFROMTHEPAST… this shows as completed even though I haven’t done it yet in this new season

My festival playlist still not working right. The only rewards I can get while completing a challenge is forza credits. My game is running the latest software but still cant get it to work.
