So I’m just curious based on this photo, would you say: checkpoint qualified or checkpoint missed?
Obviously I’m only asking bc according to the game, I missed that checkpoint

Oddly enough, I’ve had some of these historically - but only recent history. Certainly like the picture; I have had a feeling on a couple of occasions that I got such a fail when I’m pretty sure a while ago it would have been fine. Perhaps it’s been tweaked a bit to mean touching the middle?

Not sure as I’ve had checkpoints that I thought I had got being taken away and ones I was sure I’d missed being given.
Looks like it might be that like F1 rule where you need all 4 wheels inside or touching the white line.
Maybe your wheel needs to be inside or at least touching that white disc on the road. 
though I don’t normally look at those, just the flags.

Yeah, not sure but of course I nailed that corner & was ahead of my ghost when the system decided “nope”…I was genuinely surprised
In my time playing, simply contact the flag with the car was normally a qualifier. There are some like Spirant mentioned, which I know at least of one, where you can miss the flag entirely but it still qualifies it.

Seems to vary from the type of event.
Was doing the Horizon Open race thing earlier and there was at least a couple of drivers well outside the flag but no penalty yet in other types of event it would be an instant fail.
Who knows - it’s Horizon after all. They just make up their own rules on pretty much everything.
robots still treat checkpoints as optional though I think it’s better than horizon 4

The ATS Racing mod design is now finished & shared as well for the CT4 Blackwing, along with the tune. Feel like this one drives so much better than the CT5, love the stock engine sound & actually spent quite a bit of time just enjoying some laps with it at the track.
Still haven’t received any responses for the available cars, so I’ll be throwing them in the AH sometime tonight. Thanks again to anyone who decides to check them out.

- It seems that the OLD BUG that gave conflict when you used some event from EventLab / EventLab Island (codes or activities in the Playlist has returned to harm/Disables the TREASURE HUNT
- Unfortunately I used the eventlab in forzathon to do a short run in chapter 4 ( 696 659 852 )
- I use the CLOUD and XBOX ONE, treasure hunt didn’t work for me

So to 100% this week you need an Arcade AND an Elimnator AND an Open session AND a Tour. Blech.
Edit: Well the Open race was about as quick as it could be. Got into an S1 road session at the end of race 2, and race 3 was at Bahio de Plano, probably the fastest circuit of all. The Eliminator was a total rage moment though. Took forever to get an encounter on my first attempt, but I found someone in a slower car than I was, and despite instantly hitting one of those concealed trees (I hate them so much) I recovered and was easily pulling away…and then out of nowhere another player comes flying across my path, I smack dead into the side of them and hit another obstacle, and I’m done. The ultimate “Why is it always me?” I guess as a makeup I had not one but two opponents quit on me during my second attempt, so it was a freebie.
Unfortunately I also managed to singlehandledly lose a Trial race for my team, albeit with good intentions. We were down 150 points near the end of the first race, and two players were near the back of the pack, so I tried to park it in front of the AI car right behind me. I managed to nearly stop it, but I didn’t realize just how far back they were, and I couldn’t prevent a couple of other AI from passing me. This would have been fine…except one of the players in the back did the nice thing and quit just before the race ended. If I had just stayed where I was, we would have won. Whoops. Granted the real issue was the couple of cheating AI several seconds out in front of our fastest driver. Fortunately we handled the next two races pretty easily.
For the record I used the Agera RS to 3-star the Festival speed trap, and the treasure chest popped immediately.

I’ve often found this in Eliminator sessions. It seems like a non-random crash but more of a determined attack so I can only presume it’s a group of team-mates in the session trying to help each other out.
Not good as I always play them on my own.
This quest is not working.
I didn’t get an on screen notification but did find a large red circle in the town of Mulegé and the chest was located right in front of the mural.

Yes same and there is not chest it popped up on the screen and there is no chest
The treasure hunt is buggy this time. I have the treasure map, so it always shows me exactly where the chest is but this time, I just got the red circle on the map.
The chest was there at the building that has the painted mural.
