I think it depends on how much you win/lose the other races. Iirc, the 1st of mine was a close loss, followed by a reasonable win. The Goliath was a good enough win. I dropped from 2nd to 4th after a stutter in the frame refresh caused me to have no control for a second or so. Once I got the car back under control I managed to keep my position, but could not catch up with the 2 drivatars that had passed me.

Went with the gt1 lotus.
More argy bargy than I’ve seen in a while from the humans 
Lol at that sz. Took a couple of goes to get the line, rewind kept failing the zone.
Stock mini c class did the jump. Kept in 3rd to keep the speed up. Only started from the bottom of the hill on the motorway

I’ve completed an open in a Ford GT and a Ford Cobra. Neither counted to check off the custom open. I actually won with the GT.

I’ve tried the Custom Open Race twice, once with a Ford Puma FE and again with a Ford Supervan 3 and it didn’t complete. The challenge says “ANY Ford”. Something is not right…
well, the speed zone was a lot easier this time round - at least I can be somewhat smug knowing I did it “properly” before!!

I don’t remember what the target speed value last time, but I do remember that–though difficult–I didn’t have as much trouble with it as some people seemed to. The fact that there’s a massive run-up for that speed zone made it seem at least potentially doable right from the start.

I completed it by winning a custom open race. I wonder if they just changed the description, but not the actual trigger?
No, it is “completed”. We loaded into a Custom A800 Street Race yesterday, event 3 of 3, and came in 2nd, 4th and 5th iirc. Unlocked for all of us.
The most common things to not make it unlock from what I remember were:
- using a non-Ford Ford (Hoonigan, DeBerti, Formula Drift)
- normal Open Race instead of a Custom
I actually found this the easiest of the 3,more scope to cut just inside the marker posts and the car seemed to have more grip,the first race was a struggle for me,only managed 3rd after about 10 attempts.lol
I had only completed the Goliath race on the rally expansion on wednesday so the route was still familliar to me.
Also regarding the Horizon co-op championship event,i didnt get the Fordathon races,mine only gave me Rods and Customs which offered me the Boneshaker or other hotwheels cars to use.Weird or am i missing something to make the Ford race appear ?
The whole co-op/team races is a new thing for me having never bothered with online gaming purely because it doesnt interest me.Decided to give it a go anyway.
Ah i see.I was doing the event from the screen on the playlist,it just says co-op championship.I,ll have another look later.

co-op championship is the Tour, that’s completely separate from the Open event and requirement.
I certainly found it the most difficult of any of the PR Stunts. Could be that now I’d find it a bit easier with all the extra practice. The speed going into the zone is the important part, yes, though the bend just before the start from that side does reduce the top speed you can get going into it.

is it? blimey, seemed so much easier this time - wow - was it maybe more restricted, eg, only M-B CLK-GTR not the FE version?
