@Lightsider74 good races there :slight_smile:

Are there any good modern supercars/hypercars except the detuned GMA?

I tested some Ferrari, Lambos and McLaren. While they feel okay they are rubbish in comparison to the usual suspects.
What use are 2:05s on Suzuka when I can hop into my Ultima and do 2:01?

They all lack grip.

You were good. I was rubbish haha.

The 458 was a nightmare @ Suzuka overheating the tyres.

Enjoyed battling through the field at Road Atlanta though. Also had a competitive race @ Mugello before I joined your lobby.

All in all not as bad as thought it would be in S class on street tyres.

Won’t be racing R class though. The faster the cars the slower I am.

Does the S7 LM count? That’s pretty decent - not sure it would do 2.01s though!

Yeah, seemed better than the average supercar but was nearly 2 seconds off at Catalunya (streets, GTR R35 V6, max/min aero).

didn’t know the ultima can drop to S class. feels like a less op Elemental. if you have a tune to share for it feel free to do so :>

Unfortunately, mine isn’t possible to share (to load). Engine-glitched V6 swap.
On sports it’s on 911 GT1/McLaren F1 GT pace. Slightly below the Elemental and CanAm cars.

So far I’ve tried the XJ220S, #2 GT40 and T50 in events. Best laps in case helpful for comparison to other options were:

Kyalami - 1.45.8 (XJ220S) - night
Nurburgring - 1.59.9 (XJ220S)
Le Mans - 3.52 (#2 GT40)
Silverstone - 2.05.0 (T50 - no aero - ran 2.04.2 in rivals with aero)

XJ220S and T50 on streets and GT40 on sports. I have a street tyres S7 LM which seems strong for some courses as well (1.21.0 at Atlanta in rivals) but haven’t tried that online - it doesn’t have the same power as the XJ220S on more power orientated courses.

Sadly my workhorse Toyota MR2 MK2 which has been surprisingly competitive in the mid-engine B Class and A Class particularly just cannot step up to S class. Cannot get enough grip on it even if it has great acceleration… hey ho.

Maybe it needs the epic SARD MC8-R body kit being avail for it to be competitive in S class :frowning:

The XJ220S times are strong. Best track I’ve found for it is Spa.
Le Mans you could try the '05 Ford GT. Does 3:50 on sports, maybe even faster with streets.
GMA and S7 LM are okay I guess. Around 1.5 to 2 seconds off the F1 GT/Ultima.

Easy no-pit podiums so far in this week’s S-class mid-engine playlist driving the '98 MB AMG CLK GTR with stock (street) tires, race weight reduction, race transmission, race differential, race front bumper/aero, race rear wing/aero, race rear bumper, & OZ Superleggera III Forged wheels.

EU morning time be like:

Tune here cuz im too lazy

That’s a very solid lap time. Assuming you posted that just after you did it, I must have been running Silverstone at exactly the same time - as part of a 4 car lobby (with a 10 second a lap advantage over the other 3). It really shouldn’t be possible for 7 and 4 car lobbies to co-exist. Why are they not merged?

Realised I had this in my garage on sport tyres, so thought I’d give it a go. No aero build (although the aero actually looks fine on the P4). Surprisingly good. Slightly faster than I managed in the Jag. Shame it was such an out-matched lobby:

“Curbs? What curbs? Where?”
Universal suspension setting for any car with 50/50 weight balance (practically all MR cars if u want them go fast).

0.333*max spring value, default ride height, 5.2/5.2 bump, 7.8/7.8 rebound.

If we’re listing lap times, i’ll have to grab some more laps for comparison but hopefully a couple match what’s been put up so far

Those are strong times @Snooty. Still using the two tunes you shared above?

Just the 5.8 handling one, the 6.3 as it turns out isnt very useful for most of these tracks lol
