I’ve been buying and tuning a mix of classic muscle and modern muscle cars, looking for the fastest v8 powered car. Why? Simple because in my opinion they sound the best. Now it can be engine swapped just as long as it is v8 powered. What have you guys found? P.S. I know the cobra and Dodge Dart are the fastest drag cars however they are v12

The faster car is the Dart, it has more power and a better weight balance than the King Cobra, but in reality a race of these cars is more of a drivers race over who has the most power or the least weight.
Ill try to post the specs. Ive build a monster miata, v8 powered turbocharged. Awd. Not as fast as the dart but give hell of a ride
