So I’ve been using my CSR a lot recently, almost exclusively with FM4. Each time I connect it with my Xbox, assuming it hasn’t been used in the past hour or so, it makes some strange noises for a few seconds and then settles back into the quiet fan noise. The noises kind of sound like they might be coming from some sort of gear. These noises have been increasing in volume and length for a few weeks, and the noises are changing in pitch more and getting a little weird. Has anyone had this problem, and is there a fix? I’m just hoping this doesn’t turn into anything more serious.

Sounds like it could be an issue with the cooling fan, probably worth taking a video and contacting support via Fanatec’s website and see what they think/recommend.
Ok, I guess I’ll go do that… they have pretty good customer support
