Firsr, I’d like to apologize if this has been mentioned already. I did search and found nothing to this item.
Now, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I’d like to get some confirmation on a speculation.
As noted I the title, it involves the trucks in the extreme off road er catagory on xbox One. I recently got it and tried it to find the volume levels of the trucks seem to be a lot lower ththan some of the other cas. The biggest ofender in this is the Ram Runner, where everything sound abnormally quiet, including the engine, tire sreeching, even the rocks hitting the underside of the body. It is a bit better with the Rally Fighter and Raptor, but they still seem quiet compared to (in my testing) an S4. The biggest note I it is that the GPS voice is constanty louder than the mentioned actions. I have checked the sound settings and everything so defaulted.
The other issue is, it seems like it is intermittent since I switched between the Ram and 3 others, after going back to he ram, the volume has gone up some, but still quieter than the GPS voice.
So I’m not sure if this a known issue or a sparadic one.
Thank you for reading.
All other sounds are automatically muffled when Anna (the GPS voice) speaks, so you can hear her no matter what’s going on.
Yes, I am aware, but the volume difference from what it normally is vs what was happening.
If I placed it on a scale, 10 being normal volume of stuff. 10 being anna when she comes on and car and radio going down to 7-8, I would put volume of the car at 3 when this problem is occuring.
There is an option in the settings to turn off ANNA’s voice. That’s what I did because it became annoying that her voice over lowers the sound of the cars and I can see the GPS just fine to get where I’m going.
OP, IMO all the cars seem way too quiet probably because I’m used to FM5 sound. Not sure if there is really anything you can do about it unfortunately. I’m guessing the developers had to sacrifice cars sound a bit to accommodate for an open world and the other sounds that come with it. Just my speculation though, I don’t know this for a fact.
It’s not always an issue since it only affected some cars in my case, and after restarting the game, the issue seemed to disappear.
I’m just trying to find out if this has occurred to anyone else or not.
